I'd say he's not looking great, but not looking that bad either, don't see him needing a thread at the moment.

Since we are talking about fast talkers, it's probably a good time to mention Steve's arch rival John Moschitta Jr, who is best known for his acting work in commercials, and voicing Blurr (the fastest talking and fastest driving robot) in the original Transformers.

Damn. Remember watching him bowl on TV during my childhood days, never seen anyone spin the ball like him. -
People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
The Immortal replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
The two athletes in the famous "Black Power Salute" photograph back in the 1968 Olympics, Tommie Smith and John Carlos, are both still alive aged 77 and 76. -
I got engaged recently, and I learned an interesting tidbit from my fiancee that her grandmother is a good friend of former Olympic sprinter Dorothy Hyman, who won 3 medals in the Olympics including a silver medal for the 100 meters in the 1960 Rome Olympics. An interesting choice for a death pool team, I'm going to try and get some more inside information if I can and update you on this.

Belated congratulations on your victory, Banana.

Gary Rossington, last surviving original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, has had a long history of heart issues (heart attack in 2015, heart surgeries in 2019 and 2021) and has not been talked about that much Also another "last survivor" of a band, Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. He's 71 years old and although he seems to be doing okay, you never know.

NASCAR legend Cale Yarborough has not appeared at all in public since around 2018-2019 and considering he used to attend races and sign fan autographs regularly, this is not a good sign.

I'm getting more of a feeling about a plane crash which involves a major sports team, I'm thinking a top football club or an international cricket team.

Pele, Sir Bobby Charlton, James Whale and Estelle Harris are excellent choices for newcomers and having Gorbachev and David Attenborough returning as well is a great thing, honestly just about every newcomer/return pick is decent actually. As for removals, I agree with several posters here that dropping Linda Nolan is a huge gamble that might backfire, same thing with Pope Benedict and Barbara Walters as well, I personally feel that Emperor Akihito and David Crosby could have been dropped instead because they seem to be in great health, heck Crosby's former bandmate Stephen Stills is in worse shape than him IMO. The other removals seem to be okay. Overall this seems like a pretty good list, I expect more hits this time, about 14-15.

The DeathList has probably been decided already, but I'm gonna throw one last suggestion before the new year begins and that is astronaut Thomas Stafford, most famous for being commander in the Apollo-Soyuz test project mission. Stafford is 91 and is incredibly frail, can't see him having much longer left.

Yikes, another DL miss. Not long after his close friend F.W De Klerk as well.

Just seen it your list, a very interesting list you got there and I did some scouting to find more information some on these players and found some stuff that needs to be updated. Omar Mendez (Uruguay 1954 and 1962) are the same person born on August 7, 1934. Zoltan Friedmanzsky (Hungary 1958) did an interview in 2014 for a local news channel and this is the video, unfortunately everything is in Hungarian but it's proof that as of 2014 he is still alive. And his birthdate on October 22, 1934 according to his page on Hungary's Wikipedia though it's pretty unreliable. Adolf Scherer (Czechoslovakia 1958) has done an interview on a Slovakian news site just a few days ago, unfortunately the article is paywalled but from whatever I could see he seems to be doing well and he lives in France (though I have no idea for how long he has been there). Braulio Musso (Chile 1962) is mentioned on your list having a birthdate May 24, 1937 but his wikipedia page shows a birthdate of March 8, 1930 and it claims he played from Universidad de Chile from 1951 to 1968 but not just that, some more searching and I find that Braulio Musso has a Facebook Page which he is definitely involved in, and you will find all his posts are about his football days and though he has only shown photos dating back to 1955, he mentions in one post that he played for Universidad de Chile at the age of 21 and that makes the 1930 birth year make more sense because even if he debuted for his club in 1955 he would still be 17/18 with a 1937 birth year.

Speaking of 1958, any updates on the current statuses of the surviving 1958 and 1962 finalists OoO?

About time she got a thread and more mention among Deathlisters. No surprise she got into trouble again, She's basically an unstable nuclear reactor that can explode at any moment (surely either overdose, suicide, accident, maybe get murdered), same thing with Demi Lovato.

Found out that Dabney Coleman is still alive and is nearly 90 years old. Best known for his roles in The Towering Inferno and 9 To 5, but I remember him for his role in the 1983 film WarGames.
