I would also go with Hurst. Hurst is more involved in public life and healthier compared to the others though Paine also seems to be in decent health from a video of him in 2020. Cohen and Eastham have not had public appearances in years, Callaghan did not look great in his last known public appearance in 2016 and Bobby Charlton does not have long left with his dementia

I think the old Indycar drivers have done better in longevity and health compared to the F1 and NASCAR drivers. You already mentioned Andretti but I will add he is still in incredible health for his age, still does tours at Indy speedway in a 2-seater Indycar. Gordon Johncock (2 time Indy 500 winner) is still alive and is still in pretty good shape for an 85 year old man. A.J Foyt (4 time Indy 500 winner) has had his close calls with death in recent years (like the time he was attacked by bees for example) but has been doing pretty good as of now and I can see him holding off the grim reaper for a couple more years. Johnny Rutherford (3 time Indy 500 winner) looks incredibly amazing for his age and I definitely do not see him dying any time soon. Al Unser Sr (4 time Indy 500 winner) also appears to be in great health as well seeing his recent photo while attending the 2021 Indy 500. Al's brother Bobby Unser was still in pretty good health around 2 years before his death. Even Parnelli Jones was active 4-5 years ago even though he is now in poor health. Compared to 60s and 70s F1 and NASCAR winners, I think the 60s and 70s Indycar and Indy 500 winners have won the longevity race.

Deathrace Form Guide #10 Roger Donlon The 88 year old former army colonel best known as the very first Medal Of Honor recipient during the Vietnam War, is now clearly at the end stage of Parkinson's disease, being frail, barely able to walk (despite assistance) and speak and is mostly home bound. A valuable soldier to pick for any Deathrace side.

Probably too late to join but here goes! These are the six I feel will die in six months. 1. Nichelle Nichols - Uhura from Star Trek. Suffering from dementia and other health problems 2. Roger Donlon - First Medal Of Honor Recipient for the Vietnam War. Clearly now in the end stage of Parkinson's disease 3. Marsha Hunt (born 1917) - Actress and Spino's centenarian pick 4. Brian May - Queen guitarist - Has been in poor health since suffering a heart attack last year 5. Norman Lear - Actor - Just feeling he will fall short of a 100 years old 6. Demi Lovato - Singer - Already survived a drug overdose in 2018 which left her with brain damage and has a history of alcohol and drug abuse, in other words basically a walking nuclear reactor, can explode, meltdown or overload at any time.

Got some information from a friend from the West Indies. It turns out my friend has a distant connection to former West Indies player Vanburn Holder who was on the 1975 World Cup Squad and from what my friend knows, Vanburn Holder is not in the greatest of health these days though my friend does not know details. Also worth thinking about his teammates Bernard Julien, who survived cancer in the 2000's, as well as Lance Gibbs and Rohan Kanhai (both aged over 85). -
NASCAR racing and commentary legend "Gentleman" Ned Jarrett is 89 years old now and is looking very frail nowadays.

Simanek looks not as bad as I thought he would actually. Miyamura still the healthiest of the lot though.
-
Definitely one to consider. He's had health issues before, two heart surgeries, another chest surgery for a partial collapsed lung back in 2005. In general you can definitely see compared to his wife, Bill Clinton is definitely a bit more on the unhealthy side of things.

Duane Dewey dead https://www.wcjb.com/2021/10/14/sole-ncfl-medal-honor-recipient-duane-dewey-dies/. Also Roger Donlon's Parkinson's disease and overall health has worsened to the point he cannot walk without assistance and is mostly homebound, appears very frail as well and can barely speak. He was there in an interview and his wife had to do most of the speaking.

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters
The Immortal replied to Phantom's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I actually have quite a few famous brief encounters because I live in London and made several visits to the USA (mostly Seattle and Florida) Some of the encounters I remember Zerkaa (The Sidemen). Pretty sure the guy was drunk when I encountered him so did not bother. Sporty Spice (Mel C). Not as bad as an encounter as you would think. Had a brief chat with her then we went our separate ways. Kiwi cricketer Ross Taylor during the Kiwi's tour of England in 2015. Pretty cool guy to have a conversation with. Another cricketer, Alex Hales. Had a nice brief chat with him. Also encountered Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles, again he seemed like a nice guy and I quickly said hello to him. Kenny Baker (R2D2). Encountered him couple of years before his death in London. Just an awesome guy, had a great conservation with him and talked about Star Wars and R2D2 stuff (obviously). Definitely my favorite encounter on the list. I also had really, really brief encounters with Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) and George Russell (the racing driver), as in I saw them from a distance. If your interested in BGT. Might as well make it known that Marc Spelmann is a distant family friend and I have met him twice, pretty cool guy to hang out with actually. -

It's been around 1 and a half years since this list was made and majority of these guys are dead, can you give a new updated list (especially curious about Jean Pierre Jabouille)?

So he finally completed the game

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory marks its 50th anniversary this year. 4 of it's child stars (Paris Themmen, Michael Bollner, Julie Dawn Cole and Peter Ostrum) are still alive and are in their 60s while only one Oompa Loompa (Rusty Goffe, now in his 70s) is left standing. They could be good picks to consider for a death pool team.

Damn it you nearly gave me a heart attack, at least you could have clarified that it was not "THAT" Amanda Holden who died.....

Damn this one hits close. My uncle and aunt saw in person Mikis Theodorakis perform at the opening ceremony of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics while they were on their honeymoon. Mikis conducted a song called "Romiossini", which was sang by soprano Agnes Baltsa (who is still alive at 76 years old, just letting you know) and they were blown away by the performance. It still remains my aunt's favorite memory from that day and started my aunt's love for opera. https://youtu.be/IzGCXdX6gig?t=8823 shows Mikis Theodorakis. The full performance of Romiossini is from 2:25:29 to 2:29:26

Hubble Space Telescope commander Loren Shriver is someone to consider for Death pools, not in a good shape anymore it looks like https://www.eptrail.com/2021/07/19/col-loren-shriver-honored-by-town-board/. Plenty of early shuttle era astronaut appearances at this year's Spacefest convention and majority of them are going strong, especially Jack Lousma. However I noticed Mike Mullane, astronaut/author who is actually one of my favorite authors (I still have and read once in a while his book, Riding Rockets) looked a bit more frail in the convention.

I say that Bill Wyman and Ronnie Wood will go soon enough, Mick Jagger in the next 2-3 years but Keith Richards? Keith Richards has cheated death so much, that I say that Keith will outlive the rest by many years (I think Keith will live to his late 80's)

Nathalie Maillet. Former racer and current director of Spa Francorchamps, died after being shot by her husband https://jalopnik.com/nathalie-maillet-boss-of-spa-francorchamps-murdered-b-184748985. Quite a morbid way to go, even for a racer. NASCAR Dick Trickle is the only other racer I can think of to have died by gunshot (suicide in his case).

With Afghanistan in chaos, is it wise to start thinking about the fates of Afghanistan cricketers Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi?
