Groth's death leaves 10 baseball players who played in the 1940's that are alive (According to BR Bullpen). Eddie Robinson is 100 but is in decent shape. George Elder is also 100. The other 8 alive are Chris Haughey, Eddie Basinki, Tommy Brown, Carl Erskine, Larry Miggins, Cloyd Boyer and Bobby Shantz. All these guys with the exception of Robinson (who created a podcast) live private lives and have not had media mentions in basically forever.

I remember when I found out about this guy I spent hours finding out if he was somehow related to legendary rally driver Colin McRae, Never found anything to prove it though.

Can't see him lasting beyond 2022. Reminds me a lot of Denise Nickerson (who died in her 60s as well) who like Ward was very healthy but suddenly suffered from a sudden onslaught of health conditions (massive stroke, overdosed on medication, contracted pneumonia while in ICU, then suffered a massive seizure and finally died).

Jim Ward (age 62) is a voice actor who starred in countless children's movies and shows but is most famous for his role as Captain Qwark of the game series Ratchet and Clank. He has Alzheimer's disease, COVID-19 complications, requires full time care and lives in a nursing home and due to that is unable to do voice acting anymore. https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2021/05/12/ratchet-clank-jim-ward/

Glad to know I'm not the only person who has connections to serial killer victims. My uncle lived in Seattle for a good number of years and knew family members of Green River Killer Gary Ridgway's victim Patricia Barczak(died at the age of 19 in 1986). Speaking of Gary Ridgway, he is still alive in prison and is now 72 years old and there have not been any updates on his status for years. Hopefully soon enough the grim reaper decides to strike him.

More information relating to Jaussaud's final days. https://www.motorsport.com/lemans/news/two-time-le-mans-winner-jean-pierre-jaussaud-dies/6635336/?nrt=102 He actually suffered the heart attack while at a Le Mans event last month, then was sent to hospital in his home city of Caen, where his health worsened and then he died.

A structural engineer was among those found dead in the Surfside condo collapse, which was caused by structural failure. In a tragic irony, man who devoted life to structural engineering among dead in Surfside collapse

The most eternal of eternals, immortal of immortals, lord of lords and the world's greatest death dodger Dilip Kumar himself appears to dead and for real this time. His family and his pulmonologist have confirmed it. I will still wait for more confirmations but I think this time it is real.

Any information on Canadian actor Robert G. Slade's age and general status? He has most famously starred in films like Casino Royale and Exit Thread. Robert appears to be active to this very day according to IMDB https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0805195. However IMDB shows he starred in 3 films in the 60's which is incorrect because Slade has been active for 35 years. As his Exit Thread character Ezekiel Hartt (which he played in 2016), Slade looks to be in his mid to late 60s http://www.exitthread.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/rs4-1024x681.jpg but he could very well be older (Remember the age and birthdate confusion of Michael Angelis?). Slade appears to be an extremely private guy, with no information about him anywhere besides his characters and films he starred in and seems like one of those guys who will very likely die off radar.

Looks like you set off a chain reaction. Kaunda died June 17th, Singh died on June 18th. Dilip Kumar better watch out because today is June 19th, chances are the Grim Reaper has already arrived at his doorstep.

Milkha Singh still hospitalized, but out of ICU https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/more-sports/athletics/milkha-singh-stable-out-of-covid-icu-family-statement/articleshow/83573316.cms

Looks to me like whatever is going on with his hand is caused by either some blood or heart disease, leukemia, or nursing home abuse (its the USA most assisted living facilities are all about the cash and dont give a shit about their residents)

Watched a video from 2019 where Peter Windsor interviewed Jacques Laffite. Peter mentions that according to Jacques the French racer Jean-Pierre Jabouille has dementia and a few other health problems. Octopus can you confirm this?

Nice pictures of the VC recipients. Here is the most recent picture of WW2's last surviving MOH recipient, Woody Williams.

Hagemeister's death is a surprise, the guy was quite active and seemed to be very healthy. Since this is probably the only place I can talk about MOH and Victoria Cross recipients I can give you quite a few updates on them which I have wanted to do for a while. For WW2 and Korea Woody Williams is as active as ever and is no way going to die any time soon, Hiroshi Miyamura seems to be doing okay, no updates on Duane Dewey and Bob Simanek for a long time now. Won't be surprised at all if Woody manages to outlive the Korean War recipients entirely. For the Vietnam MOH recipients. Gary Wetzel has been wheelchair bound since a motorcycle accident, Gary Beikirch has pancreatic cancer, Roger Donlon has Parkinson's disease, Kenneth Stumpf is quite frail and appears to wheelchair bound as well. There have also been no updates on quite a few of them (especially Herda and Lemon). On the other hand a good majority of them are very healthy and active and are not going to die anytime soon. For Victoria Cross recipients. Cannot find any updates on Cruickshank since his 100th birthday. Limbu and Payne are quite healthy from recent updates.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

As much as I would like to believe this is actually Lester typing this, I think this is either a satirical account or actually Lester Wolff's account but someone (maybe a family member or a caregiver) typing as him here. -
Lester Wolff, the oldest living member of the United States Congress has died aged 102. Apparently the guy was quite active into his 100's and was still active in politics as recently as January 2021 much like George Shultz, who also actively involved in politics until his death. Lester also seems to have a Twitter account https://twitter.com/RepWolff but I cannot tell if this is a satirical account or actually his.

Not a surprise. It's very common for collectors like Parnelli to sell important items from their collection once they are unable to take care of them almost always due to health reasons.
-
Retired Indy racing legend Parnelli Jones has been selling almost his entire vehicle collection, this is usually not a good sign and shows he is not doing too well.
-
ARCA driver Derrick Lancaster is no longer on ventilator and is alert now. Retired NASCAR driver Delma Cowart has had Parkinson's and dementia for a while according to his daughter https://twitter.com/DelmaSdaughter/status/1377747892291706882. Was visited by Kyle Petty a few days ago.

Vic Elford, isn't that the guy who tried rescuing Jo Bonnier out of his burning car but was unable to do so in the 1972 Le Mans race in which Bonnier was killed?

I would still say it is a big enough blow to her that she would be tearing up (possibly even crying) at his funeral.
