dead Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh
The Immortal replied to BirdieNumNums's topic in DeathList Forum
Yeah it's very possible the Queen will be gone soon. George HW Bush died from a broken heart only a few months after his wife Barbara died. -

I think Harry at least will come, he and William were very close to their grandfather. -

The Forth Bridge has finally fallen down. A true legend in and outside the DeathList world. I wonder if the Queen would have given Phil a 100th birthday card, I know Phil hated the idea of turning 100 and probably would have done a Bob Weighton and rejected a card but the Queen IS his wife so who knows. I guess we will never find out now. -

Dolly Parton's husband Carl Dean is someone to watch. From this rare public appearance from him it looks he is not in great shape at all, he also required an assistant to aid him with errands. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-7849443/Dolly-Partons-reclusive-husband-five-decades-Carl-Dean-seen-time-40-YEARS.html Dolly and Carl are very much in love and I can potentially see a Barbara Bush/George Bush situation happening here, one dies and the other dies a few months later indirectly from broken heart syndrome or whatever its called. Dolly is in extremely good health but you can never say after you become a widow. -

By the time he reaches 100 (if he actually makes it that is) I imagine he would look like a mummy. -
Agreed. Ian was actually in good health while Greaves has been unable to talk and is paralyzed since a massive stroke.

Congratulations to the Rush bandwagon for finally getting their success. I am playing it safe this time and going with Philip.
-
Went for a politician last time and predicted correctly, Trying my luck with another politician. Henry Kissinger shall not disappoint. Gotta feel bad for the Rush bandwagon though, losing three times in a row voting the guy most expected to die because two 100 year olds and the terminally ill man that nobody picked died.
-
YEAH! I told you all Shultz was worth picking! I won my first prediction by predicting Shultz for death number 3 even though I predicted he would be death number 1 at least I got it right.

Have a feeling its gonna be Dick Van Dyke. They say celebrity deaths come in threes and earlier this year it happened with Larry King, Cloris Leachman and Cicely Tyson. Sir Tom Moore and Hal Holbrook have died, someone is gonna follow very shortly and I feel its gonna be Dick for some reason.

Have any of you wondered what dinosaur meat would taste like? Surprised nobody in the Jurassic Park universe created a Dinosaur Steakhouse business.

You all should have been more clear to me that it was not allowed to make new threads for a certain period of time but there was no rules section where I could see this. How the hell was I supposed to know it was not allowed when there is no pinned thread for forum rules? I would have not made the post had I known it would not be allowed but where on this forum was the basic pinned rules thread that every forum board has? Can you please link to me a list of forum rules if there is a thread of one?
-
Shouldn't this thread be merged with WWII Veterans?
-
This thread is for mentioning deaths of veterans around the world with important military awards. Made this because this is not just about WW2 and it will not fit in that thread. I guess to start conversation let us talk about Medal Of Honor recipient Thomas Norris. I noticed from a video that he had facial paralysis which I thought was because of a stroke but it turns out he lost an eye and a part of his face because of injuries he sustained in the Vietnam War. More interestingly I found out he was saved by Michael E Thornton, who would later earn the Medal Of Honor for his actions saving Norris.

If the thread bothers you that much then ignore it. No need to make a big deal out of it.

Feel like a major political death is overdue. Going with George Shultz.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
The Immortal replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
My review of the list. George Shultz's name is spelled wrong on the DeathList it is spelled Shultz not Schultz. Nice pick though. Sir Frank Williams and Rush Limbaugh are excellent picks. Sir Tom Moore, Sidney Poitier, Barbara Walters, Walter Mondale, Yoko Ono and Rosalynn Carter are also good picks in my opinion. Good that Desmond Tutu has been dropped, he will not be dying anytime soon. I feel like more famous names like Ozzy Osbourne, Larry King and Gerd Muller should have been put on the list instead of some people nobody has heard of (Who the hell are Betty Boothroyd and Stanley Baxter) but besides that I would say the list is good. -
Looking forward to the 2021 DeathList! I have been around since the 2016 DeathList but only joined this year and after the absolute massacre of celebrities in 2020 thanks to COVID I cannot wait to see which celebrities will be selected for 2021.

Oldest living baseball player Eddie Robinson turned 100 years old. https://www.forbes.com/sites/nickdiunte/2020/12/15/at-100-eddie-robinson-has-one-unlikely-frontier-left-he-wants-to-conquer/?sh=4b4dfb433871. Started a podcast recently and seems in good health.

I think he should be picked if he makes it to 2021. He is more then famous enough and he is old, frail and in poor health.

I predict the grim reaper is going to be 'like a super strong enema 'in 2020
The Immortal replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList Forum
To be honest I knew this would be the record breaking year. When you have a pandemic which primarily kills people over 70 and majority of DeathList picks over 80 it just simply connects. I think we might have one more death before the year ends.
