    The 1st Death of 2021?

Feel like a major political death is overdue. Going with George Shultz.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

My review of the list. George Shultz's name is spelled wrong on the DeathList it is spelled Shultz not Schultz. Nice pick though. Sir Frank Williams and Rush Limbaugh are excellent picks. Sir Tom Moore, Sidney Poitier, Barbara Walters, Walter Mondale, Yoko Ono and Rosalynn Carter are also good picks in my opinion. Good that Desmond Tutu has been dropped, he will not be dying anytime soon. I feel like more famous names like Ozzy Osbourne, Larry King and Gerd Muller should have been put on the list instead of some people nobody has heard of (Who the hell are Betty Boothroyd and Stanley Baxter) but besides that I would say the list is good.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Looking forward to the 2021 DeathList! I have been around since the 2016 DeathList but only joined this year and after the absolute massacre of celebrities in 2020 thanks to COVID I cannot wait to see which celebrities will be selected for 2021.

    Baseball

Oldest living baseball player Eddie Robinson turned 100 years old. https://www.forbes.com/sites/nickdiunte/2020/12/15/at-100-eddie-robinson-has-one-unlikely-frontier-left-he-wants-to-conquer/?sh=4b4dfb433871. Started a podcast recently and seems in good health.

    Sir Frank Williams

I think he should be picked if he makes it to 2021. He is more then famous enough and he is old, frail and in poor health.
  6. To be honest I knew this would be the record breaking year. When you have a pandemic which primarily kills people over 70 and majority of DeathList picks over 80 it just simply connects. I think we might have one more death before the year ends.

    Bob Barker

Ok, an update on this. She has not made any public appearance since 1993, however she sold her residence recently in 2019 so she is still alive but maybe not doing too well anymore.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

With the amount of deaths that have happened this year there are lot of possibilities I can think of that can be added for 2021. Musicians. Ozzy Osbourne (so surprised he is not on the list already), Brian May, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards. Sports. Sir Bobby Charlton, Gerd Muller, Sir Frank Williams. Hollywood/Film. Sidney Poitier, Sophia Loren, Michael Douglas, Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones, John Williams. Military and Space. Sir Tom Moore, Jim Lovell, Gene Kranz, Thomas Stafford, Hershel Williams (Medal Of Honor). Other celebs who are very old, terminally ill or in poor health. George Shultz, Rush Limbaugh, Barbara Walters, Barbara Windsor. With the amount of deaths that have happened this year there are lot of possibilities I can think of that can be added for 2021.

    The 17th death of 2020

Looks like this Peter Sutcliff is a bad person, has been in prison and has COVID-19. I will make my first ever vote to vote him.

    Bob Barker

Whatever happened to "Barker's Beauties" member Dian Parkinson? Unlike her fellow beauty Janice Pennington, who has made a couple of public appearances with her husband in recent years Dian has vanished completely from the public. Seems fair to ask this question on the Bob Barker thread but if there is any other suitable thread to ask this let me know.

    The 100 Club

Is she really over a 100 when this photo was taken? Because if so she looks quite sexy for a 100 year old.

    Astronauts

Thats nice. Hauck is in pretty decent shape from a Youtube video from 2019 and Bobko appeared in the 2019 hall of fame ceremony also in decent shape. As for what I know about the other early shuttle era members from Astronaut Group 8. Brandenstein, Coats, Shaw, Gregory, Gibson, Seddon, Hoffmann and Sullivan appeared in the 2019 Astronaut hall of fame ceremony and all are doing very good. Shriver seems to be only involved in Hubble Telescope related events which is fair since he was commander of that mission. Also all the living Group 8 women seem to be doing really good and have all appeared recently in public. The other day Kathy Sullivan went to the deepest point on Earth No information about Creighton and the other non pilot and women members of Astronaut Group 8.

    Astronauts

Thats some nice information. Were Challenger era astronauts Karol Bobko (pilot of Challenger's first flight) Frederick Hauck (Commander of first flight after Challenger), Richard Covey (He was the CAPCOM that day) there?

    The Chequered Flag

A bit off topic but Harry Gant is probably the HEALTHIEST old Nascar driver and probably one of the healthiest and best looking 80 year olds ever. Believe it or not but Harry is in fact the handsome looking guy on the right on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFnMTaD2jYo Not surprisingly Mr Gant was nicknamed "Handsome Harry" during his career. Kyle Petty, who is 20 years younger then Harry looks older.

As somebody on this forum with one of those mentioned conditions I will just say this. Whoever said that we should be terminated you are a fucking asshole. My life has been awesome and I wont change it for anything. We can live fulfilling lives, have jobs, have sex,get married and even have kids. Even the worst affected can live fulfilling lives with good support. Somebody I know with cerebral palsy for example is non verbal and uses one of those computer voice things for communication and he is one of the coolest guys I know and he enjoys his life.

Oof lot of good guys there although I expected Stirling Moss and McAlpine would be there. I imagine this Fittipaldi has to be Christian or Wilson because Emerson's surely gonna get a 100 percent UK obit. Jacques Laffite though seems to be actually doing ok in recent pictures.

    World War II Veterans

Thought it is worth mentioning about George Yankowski an American baseball player and WW2 veteran who died last month. He fought in the Battle Of The Bulge and earned a Bronze Star. Yankowski also recently got a baseball card and more notably he was one of the oldest living baseball players until his death and later in his life he was denied pension and fought hard for his and other MLB players pension. The link below has more information about him. http://www.cambridgeday.com/2020/03/05/yankowski-won-medals-in-battle-of-the-bulge-but-couldnt-fight-mlb-for-a-players-pension/ The oldest living major league baseball player is currently Eddie Robinson.

Mr Octopus of Odstock. I wish you could update your list of which F1 drivers are in bad health and might die soon I saw you made a small list on page 57 about the F1 drivers health and what illness or condition they have and I thought that was a great list. Can you do an update on that list and maybe also do a different one with NASCAR guys since most of us dont know NASCAR drivers health? I do know Fred Lorenzen has dementia but thats about it for NASCAR drivers.
