He's up there with J.K. Rowling as someone who shot their career in the foot by being, as TQR said, an arsehole - and then had the bollocks to decry something that seems basic. Glynis Johns was my first hit of the year (and the earliest I think). Draper was on the longlist but I really didn't want to put him on because for all intents and purposes he is a FFBI pick. He wouldn't have been, had he debuted before ~2015, but after that point I imagine a large chunk of the population had put him out of their minds completely. He's famous now for being ill.
