Deathrace Form Guide #9 Ziyad al-Nakhalah As Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, al-Nakhalah has been a major target of Israel for a few years now. He was a subject of two assasination attempts last month (you might want to send an email to Netanyahu asking to slow down a bit) but if he makes it to January he might be a good punt.

Decrepit and obscure Indian actor/director Kulada Kumar Bhattacharjee (imdb) on ventilator with pneumonia and other problems, but he has been in "deteriorating health" with serious health problems since 1980.

Deathrace Form Guide #6 S. M. Krishna The 92-year-old Indian former Minister of External Affairs and Chief Minister of Karnataka who campaigned for Kennedy in 1960 hasn't been a healthy man in years, having spent four months hospitalised in varyingly critical conditions earlier this year. Reading between the lines, he suffers from some forms of severe lung and heart diseases and might've even undergone a lung transplant earlier. He's been in hospital again for two weeks, but is presumably satisfactory, improving, stable...etc, but a few further deteriorations might help him join his forementioned political guru in January.

Mum Amy Price and step-dad Paul Price both recently hospitalised...says she has stopped vaping: 'I've been vaping for a year, and it's no good for you - especially when my mum has had a lung transplant. It's disrespectful doing this in front of my mum,' she told the camera. 'I've decided that today is the day I am throwing this battery, chemical, addictive, horrible thing away. I am now doing vapes no more from today.' 'I've got the strength to get rid of them. Join me. It's going in the bin, that's it. I've cleared all of my vapes out of the car and everything.' The whole world is in tears, chanting "Katie, you're so strong and inspirational!" as religions and countries unite in awe of her strength. The Nobel Committee organizes an emergency meeting to give her all the five prizes. Putin announces he has withdrawn from Ukraine, inspired by Katie's humaneness. Katie steps on the podium, having just been crowned Queen of Europe, and says "next I'll try to stop using coke in front of my kids" as millions cheer and clap.

Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets
arghton replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Naim Qassem named new Hezbollah chief, with Israel's Minister of Defence saying he won't last long. Makes him a major target now, but he is reportedly not in Lebanon (coward) I wouldn't be suprised if another "decapitation" of the group is coming soon. I'd say the other main Hezbollah targets are Talil Hamiyah (how haven't they killed him yet?), Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyed and Mohamed Yazbek (very much alive unfortunately, did a rambling speech calling Nasrallah a "holy martyr" last week). Nobody seems to know where longtime head of Hezbollah's Liaison and Coordination Unit Wafiq Safa is, but rumors say he's been on ventilator for two weeks following an assasination attempt. -
Interesting stuff on him on a local forum, written by a journalist. Not much of this is on Wikipedia. There's some in English and some in Swahili(?) translated by Google: In 1942, Musugiri enlisted in the King's African Rifles (KAR), beginning as a private. As KAR, he fought in the Second World War which enabled him to fight in the battlefield in many countries, including India, Burma, Seychelles, Canada, until Japan where he was wounded by a bullet in the thigh. He bled and lost consciousness. He was carried by another Tanzanian soldier named Marega - this one is from Ngoreme. With that act of saving him, (Musuguri) continued to be his close friend until he died. While in the army, he got an education in reading and writing, and he was able to develop himself to do various military courses in Canada and China. He later served with the KAR in Madagascar. By 1947 he was a sergeant and acted as an instructor at Kahawa Barracks in Nairobi, Kenya. While there he met future Ugandan dictator Idi Amin, who was a pupil of his. In 1957, the British administration introduced the rank of effendi into the KAR, which was awarded to high performing African non-commissioned officers and warrant officers (it was not a true officer classification). Musuguri was given the rank. General Musuguri also fought the MAUMAU war in Kenya after World War II as part of the KAR army. He retired from the army in 1988 and since then he lived at his home in Butiama (Headquarters of Butiama District) engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. He was the Chairman of Butiama Village Government from 1990 to 1991. At different times, General Musuguri had received treatment in various hospitals, Butiama District Hospital, Bugando Referral Hospital, Lugalo Army Hospital, Muhimbili National Hospital, and hospitals abroad such as China, Russia, London - England, Germany, Pretoria – South Africa and New Delhi, India. I doubt all of it is true..."He was the first African to meet and shake hands with Queen Elizabeth II" doesn't sound like it is. Google translate isn't good at translating that language, shown by this gem in the comments: Pollinate the bereaved

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
arghton replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Nerve tumor, likely (and hopefully) schwannoma. From what I understood it will be analyzed with frozen section procedure during the surgery to rule out other possibilities (paraganglioma is one that I remember was mentioned as an unlikely possibility). It's in an uncommon place compared to acoustic neuroma/vestibular schwannoma, but surgery should be very similar. -

I mentioned shortly around six months ago that I have been diagnosed with a tumor on the head. Contrary to my neurologist's expectations, this tumor has grown a little bit, but is still very small and still does not cause any problems to me. A couple of months ago we discussed my latest MRI, my neurologist suggested surgery to me and I agreed. I will undergo surgery (craniotomy) next month. Just thought I'd mention, I might talk a bit more about this if anyone has questions on the surgery, etc. -
Zimbabwean cult leader Paul Mwazha is wheelchairbound and barely conscious here, and they're even saying "age has finally caught up to him".

Finlayson, 204-year-old Finnish textile manufacturer founded by Scottish Quaker engineer James Finlayson, heading towards bankruptcy. Very sad, must be one of the oldest companies in the country. A Finlayson building had the first light bulb in the Nordic countries and in the Russian Empire.

Another ailing ISKCON guru: Giriraj Swami (wiki) diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. According to coffintease Jayapataka Swami he's also underwent some surgery recently. Quite a suprise as I've followed that generation of Hare Krishna gurus for deadpooling reasons a year or two now, and not long ago he seemed almost the healthiest of the bunch. There's around fifteen of them of that generation left with Wikipedia pages, most notably maybe Mukunda Goswami who introduced ISKCON to the UK, got George Harrison into the group and was present when Harrison died.

Gonçalo Roque hospitalised in ICU with UTI malnutrition and complications from his other illnesses (meningioma, hydrocephalus). "According to his wife, he treated the condition (meningioma) non-surgically" Essential oils, good thoughts and yoga? -
NOT DEAD, unfortunately. Granted 12th parole appeal, hearing in May.

Why not? A-list and the future Queen of Norway if she outlives Harald, terminally ill for the last six years, health updates becoming much more frequent, Epstein connection that we might hear about later, crazy cocaine addict son. Very underrated name here. The "fits perfectly well in another thread" argument could be used for nearly all of the individual threads on this site.
-
Despite the slightly confusing name of the thread, this thread is for show wrestlers (professional wrestling/entertainment wrestling), this would be the right thread for other types of wrestlers incl. Sumo wrestlers.

Mike Jeffries, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch 1992-2014 arrested on Sex Trafficking charges. He is 80 and looks another flavour of Gary Busey.

ISKCON guru Satsvarupa dasa Goswami suffering from UTI and oedema again, and apparently worsening Parkinson's disease dementia.

Hamdan ATT discharged, hospitalised again in ICU and now again improving. Egidio Cuadrado dead at 71.

And here's the birthday image of this living corpse: Fellow immortal Gaositwe Chiepe, exactly a year older, looks much more alive.

Solly Moholo (who does not even have a Wikipedia page) got a BBC obituary the day after he died, another reason to pick obscure African musicians on your teams next year.

Lula cancels trip to Russia on doctors orders. He hit his head in a fall recently.

VS Achuthanandan (who turns 101 today) is described as "under complete rest" by family, who also say they believe he "understands everything". Sounds like he's in very late stages of dementia and unable to talk, but seems that has been his condition for atleast a year or two now. Interestingly this birthday article from The Hindu states he was in hospice care following his debilitating stroke in 2019.
-
Vasily Livanov from the previous page has also been discharged recently despite just very recently having come out of a two-week coma. I would add: Larisa Golubkina, Russian actress, hospice Aleksandr Zbruyev, Russian actor and people's artist who has been in hospital for a while now after a stroke and brain damage, but "getting better", "soon to be discharged" etc. Hamdan ATT, Indonesian folk musician hospitalised with major stroke, previously suffered major strokes in 2017 and 2021. "Improving following surgery" Edit, more: Egidio Cuadrado, Columbian accordion maestro hospitalised in ICU with pneumonia. Also hospitalised back in January with gastritis and an unspecified tumor. DEAD Barkatullah Bulu, Bangladeshi politician and former minister hospitalised with chest pain. Won't go anywhere, the Bangla politicos in their 60s/70s/80s never do.
