Will be 68 tomorrow. Apparently he suffered a stroke in 2007 and has been in a wheelchair since. Here he is with Carrie Fisher in 1980.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

Pahor is the only current well-known centenarian I've known for over ten years. I've seen his book "Necropolis" for a few times in flea markets. Lloyd is famous for being in some Hitchcock movies in the 40s/50s, especially from playing the villain in Saboteur (1942) but probably most of his current fame is from being an active centenarian.

Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist

Two was a too small number of centenarians in my opinion, as 2020 had three and 2019 four. For the 2022 deathlist I'd like to have, if they're still alive: Norman Lloyd, James Lovelock and Prince Philip. Boris Pahor would be a great one too, however I'd say he isn't as known as the four others I've listed. For this year, I'd say Ali Khamenei, Emperor Akihito and maybe Dick Van Dyke aren't still near their end. I'm okay with Elizabeth II on the list as if she dies it would be a very big miss for the list. Khamenei and Akihito I'd replace in 2022 with Martti Ahtisaari and F.W. De Klerk (however I don't blame anyone for not picking De Klerk as his cancer was only diagnosed this year. Ahtisaari has a history of health issues due to being overweight, both parents died in their 60s and hasn't been seen in public since last summer plus he's 83 and covid-weakened.) DVD is 96 but I'd still pick either actor Eva Marie Saint or Kenny Kaunda instead of him for next year as he doesn't seem very unhealthy

I remember this character well from the movies. I wonder if the parrot is still alive (as the parrot actually talked instead of the man and I'd say had a larger role in those movies. And if it was only one parrot)

    Monty Python

To me it just sounds like he doesn't understand the topic I didn't like him in the bond movies. He was nowhere near the level Desmond Llewelyn was as Q. Even Whishaw was a bit better than Cleese in that role. I'm almost sure that if Llewelyn hadn't died in a car crash in 1999, he'd probably have been Q until atleast Casino Royale (2006), maybe Quantum of Solace (2008), maybe even Skyfall (2012)

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive

Found out 90s Finnish foreign minister Heikki Haavisto is still alive today and 85. I'm suprised as he suffered an intracranial hemorrhage (around 25-50% mortality rate during the first four weeks, 82% ten years) in 1995 and was paralyzed. Had very unhealthy habits in the 80s and 90s and a couple of years before the ICH caused a car crash, apparently while drunk Here he is at 80yrs

    World's Oldest

By the way, is there any information on how much Alberto weights? He's much larger than any centenarian I've ever seen. Albano is the second oldest person in his country (oldest confirmed and only validated supercentenarian) and Alberto is the fifth oldest person in Portugal. Their parents got to 96 and 95 and have atleast two other centenarians in their family (sister's children). That's what I'd call great genes.

    The 100 Club

1912 isn't a very strong year for notable centenarians. While 1908 still has Ruth Apilado and 1910 has that strong duo of Stanislaw Kowalski who looks much younger than he is and Disney animator Ruthie Thompson, 1911 still has four notable centenarians: Marita Quiros (former first lady of Costa Rica, recently got to 110), Renee Simonot (Catherine Deneuve's mother), Eileen Ash (30s and 40s cricketer) and Robert Marchand (cyclist) 1912 only has two after the death of Horne: Philanthropist Jessie Lichauco and blogger Dagny Carlsson. Meanwhile 1913 has three and they're all men: Pulitzer-winning journalist Vance Trimble, Kannada writer G. Venkatasubbiah and Necropolis author Boris Pahor. 1914 and onwards still have over 10 living notable centenarians each year

Miska did live with Nykänen during his last years, was like a son to him and was in the same house when Nykänen died, so I'd say he's notable enough for a mention if he's in shitty condition in ICU at age 19
