Former Tunisian minister of the Interior 1970-1971 Ahmed Mestiri has died aged 95. Tunisian Ministers of the Interior seem to pretty often live to 90+, recently one died aged 100 (Othman Kechrid, interior minister 1979-1980). There are two Bourguiba era (1957-1987, lived 1903-2000) ministers of the interior still alive: 1973-1977 interior minister Tahar Belkhojda will be 90 on 9th of June. 1980-1984 interior minister Driss Guiga will be 97 this year. https://lapresse.tn/83852/a-batons-rompus-avec-driss-guiga-jai-essaye-de-convertir-ghannouchi-au-bourguibisme-cela-na-pas-marche-il-a-essaye-de-me-convertir-a-lislamisme-et-cela-n/ Guiga article from 2021

Samoa is having a constitutional crisis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Samoan_constitutional_crisis) as the 74-year old O le Ao o le Malo (head of state) Tuimalealiifano Va'aletoa Sualauvi II issued a proclamation purporting to prevent the Legislative Assembly of Samoa from meeting in the wake of the April 2021 Samoan general election. How long can this guy, Tuliaeoa Aiona Sailele Malielegaoi still be the Prime Minister? He's 76 and has been the PM since 1998

    Curse Of The Eurovision

I don't get why Israel is included. It's not in Europe. Also, for future Eurovision-related lists Jari Sillanpää, 2004 participant (Takes 2 to Tango) could be a good pick soon. He has had problems with meth, alcohol and everything AND was on trial last year as he had a pornographic video where a very young child was sexually abused on his computer. Rumored to have travelled to Thailand multiple times a year before covid to buy sex from children.

Rode bikes until the age of 107/108, what a legend. From 1911 left are Renée Simonot, Marita Quiros and Eileen Ash. Ash seems to still be in a pretty good condition, Quiros was holding a therapy doll in the last photo of her. Can't find new pictures of Simonot. Still a stronger year (atleast has a larger amount of famous centenarians alive) than 1912 and 1913. 1912 has Dagny Carlsson, the Swedish blogger and Jessie Lichauco, American/Filipino philanthropist. 1913 is an men's only club with journalist Vance Trimble and holocaust survivior/writer Boris Pahor.

    Ideas and possibilities 2022

Bob Dole, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Marsha Hunt, Bob Barker are ones I recommend for next year but atleast half of the four will be gone by then. Kenneth Kaunda and FW De Klerk to continue the tradition of having African despots on the list. There are also a ton of despots who will soon be good for the list (Yakubu Gowon, Sam Nujoma, Paul Biya, Denis Sassou Nguesso, Teddy Obiang and Ali Hassan Mwinyi) but probably not for next year as they don't seem to be in bad health yet, except maybe Obiang with his health history and succession battles.

    Political Frailty

"Štrougal and Vajnar will not be prosecuted for shooting at the border, the public prosecutor's office decided 18. 5. 2021 The suspension of the prosecution of the former top representatives of the communist regime, Lubomír Štrougal and Vratislav Vajnar, which concerned the use of firearms on the Czechoslovak border, is final. The decision was made by the Municipal Public Prosecutor's Office in Prague, which agreed with the experts' conclusion that both the former Prime Minister and the former Minister of the Interior suffer from a mental illness that makes it impossible for them to understand the meaning of criminal proceedings. Strougal is ninety-six years old and Vajnar is ninety years old. The Police Office for the Documentation and Investigation of the Crimes of Communism (ÚDV) began prosecuting them in November 2019. He blamed the men for the abuse of power, for which they threatened two to ten years in prison. The office also accused the former general secretary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, Miloš Jakeš, who subsequently died at the age of 97." https://ct24.ceskatelevize.cz/domaci/3313827-strougal-a-vajnar-za-strileni-na-hranicich-stihani-nebudou-rozhodlo-statni Google translator isn't perfect but this article gives me the picture that Lubomír Štrougal is so senile that he doesn't understand why he was accused of crimes (or is faking it)

    Cartoonists And Animators

Berserk seems to have been a very big thing, as they've made video games, statues, action figures, lighters, keyrings, books out of it. I did some research, here's some known manga/anime creators mentioned on wikipedia's manga/anime portal: Hayao Miyazaki (b. 1941) A name that nearly anyone who has heard of anime or manga recognizes. He's the co-founder of Studio Ghibli, a giant anime studio and probably the most known alive manga/anime creator. One of his most famous creations is Totoro. Has had heart problems in the 2010s, also used to smoke like a chimney. Another co-founder of Studio Ghibli, Isao Takahata (1935-2018) died of lung cancer and Miyazaki has admitted to smoking near him. Satoshi Tajiri (b. 1965) and Ken Sugimori (b. 1966) The creators of Pokemon. They're in their 50s but when the time comes, they'll be talked about everywhere. Yuko Shimizu (b. 1946) and Shintaro Tsuji (b. 1927) The creators of Hello Kitty, Shimizu was the designer, Tsuji created the company and probably made the stories. Much older than the creators of Pokemon. Tsuji's retirement last year was mentioned on BBC and Independent. Hideaki Anno (b. 1960) Creator of Neon Genesis Evangelion, a religion-related anime that started in the 90s. Licensed by Netflix, total revenue of an estimated 11.9 billion dollars. Anno has had serious mental problems before. Akira Toriyama (b. 1955) Created Dragon Ball. No known health issues. Yoshiyuki Tomino (b. 1941) Created Gundam in the 70s. Tetsuo Hara (b. 1961) Creator of the Fist of the Northern Star. Not so sure if they'll get a QO: Yukinobu Hoshino (b. 1954) Writer of 2001 Nights. Work acknowledged by the British Museum and was on display 2009-2010. Mamoru Hosoda (b. 1967) Has done multiple movies. Yoshiaki Kawajiri (b. 1950) Has done multiple movies. Tomoharu Katsumata (b. 1938) Koichi Mashimo (b. 1952) Masami Kurumada (b. 1953) Leiji Matsumoto (b. 1938) and Miyako Maki (b. 1935) Mangaka couple. Matsumoto suffered severe respiratory problems and was in critical condition in 2019. Shinji Mizushima (b. 1939) Baseball manga author. Hideko Mizuno (b. 1939) Known in the 1960s. Go Nagai (b. 1945) Horror/Erotica manga creator Takao Saito (b. 1936) Creator of Golgo 13 and working on it since the 60s Sanpei Shirato (b. 1932) Early manga artist
