https://www.foxnews.com/media/former-harris-staffer-calls-biden-resign-install-harris-first-female-president This is possibly the dumbest/craziest idea i've ever heard.

There's no indication from what I read as to how far along she is. Just pointing out that if the baby was to be born in the next 9 weeks, it would be a first.

"Former New York Rep. Michael Grimm is paralyzed after being thrown from a horse" Accident was back in September. The situation gives off Christopher Reeve vibes https://www.cbsnews.com/news/michael-grimm-paralyzed-fall-horse-new-york-rep-tax-fraud/

The History Channel put out this video back in 2016 to mark the 75th anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor. It features well over a dozen veterans who took part in the Attack. As of 2024, it appears only Bob Fernandez (4 minute mark) is still alive. Apologies in advance if he's already been mentioned on this thread. https://www.recordnet.com/picture-gallery/lifestyle/2024/07/15/pearl-harbor-vet-turns-100/74388813007/

With recent deaths of David Kernan and Denys Graham, I believe Michael Caine and Peter Gill (Private John Williams) are now the last surviving cast members of the 1964 film Zulu.

https://x.com/victorshannock/status/1855585674952348069 Some footage of him at a remembrance ceremony on Nov. 10 (possibly the same event Summer in Transylvania referenced).

He's actually a neighbor of mine. I saw him recently on a walk and can confirm he is alive and well. Largely keeps a low profile, as his legacy has been tarnished due to his loyalty to his brother, and his lack of co operation with Federal authorities.

Something to keep an eye on. Astronaut Suni Williams 59, has lost an alarming amount of weight in space, and is not due to return to earth until February of 2025. https://www.boston25news.com/news/local/pounds-have-melted-off-questions-swirl-around-health-mass-astronaut-stuck-space/CHSSN4RUJJBMZH2QTI2X6POX74/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwY2xjawGfZc5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHRGl9x-mYcTDdPkDmwxRYTm2ta8dqMO37vPdD70dMrV6k9hswXhCngjV9Q_aem_ACkHl3EgkjJQCLx3TCuOyw https://nypost.com/2024/11/08/us-news/nasa-races-to-stabilize-astronaut-sunita-williams-weight/

Deleted. Obituary was posted on another thread.

How long until his grandson comes out to say he's hanging on until the Feb 2 ceremony to hear if he won?
-
I believe this video is edited from one that was originally posted back in January 2023.

James Buckley was never a presidential candidate. The draft movement you are referring too, was led by Senator Jesse Helms to prevent Ronald Reagan from securing the Republican nomination in 1976.

Deleted. Quoted outdated info.

I mean she's a well known journalist and broadcaster with decades of experience, but beyond that, I cannot think of any major career accomplishments and fandom. Honestly, some like Bob Schieffer would be a more worthy candidate for their own thread than her.
-
Hard to find anything noteworthy about her career, with the exception of her priceless reaction to a crude joke the late Foster Freiss made on her show back in 2012.
-
I love how Alan Greenspan is one of the more credible picks and yet, the last two months, this thread has devolved into us voicing are disdain for his wife.
-
More like Mangos and Peanuts.
-
Her run-on sentences and questions that take 30-60 seconds makes me turn her off or hit mute EVERY TIME!! Keeping Mitchell on as some tribute to a legend crap is not what broadcasting or any business should be about. At least Walter Cronkite retired when he was still at the top of his game (not that he had a choice).

John Sulu wants January 19, 2061.
