Did you see the photos of him at his wife's funeral? No way he's going to make an appearance at a local festival. Slight possibly his family may release a bedside photo of him for his 100th, but even that is unlikely given his grave condition.

Who will be the last person validated born in 190x to die?
dimreaper replied to diego's topic in Dead Pools
Makes me sad. I saw the poll and was thinking, didn't we just loose the last person born in the 19th century. I double checked and realized it was back in 2017. Obviously, this shouldn't come as a shock as these centenarians would be only a decade younger at most than someone born in 1899. I just hate seeing another generation pass before our eyes. I'm relatively young, and am still getting use to the passage of time. -
Honestly, Carter outliving him would not surprise me one bit at this point.

Very sad story actually, Two of Elaine Deprince's sons were hemophiliacs, and had died from the AIDS virus after receiving an injection of contaminated blood-clotting products that were supposed to cure them.

I mean he's nearly 100. Regardless of how active he's been lately, he can hardly be expected to maintain a full schedule.
-
My guess is as a prisoner, he doesn't have access to private health insurance or any financial assets that would enable him to do so. He probably has to go were prison officials send him.

I wouldn't put him down as out of the woods just yet. Heart patients are usually on shaky ground in the weeks after their surgery and can easily succumb to complications.
-
Is he having one put in?
-
It's the, "not every one who makes it to 99, necessarily makes it to 100" table. PS: Russell M Nelson, you have been warned.

At 92 years old, I suspect its time the veteran actress got her own thread.

Civil Rights leader and activist, Rev. Jesse Jackson (b. 1941) was diagnosed with parkinson's disease back in 2017. At a recent press appearance, many noted that the once spirited Jackson appeared to physically struggle as he issued a statement on the Derek Chauvin trial.

I have to disagree, her appearances on the Weekend update with Dennis Miller were legendary. Several UK online publications have already published her diagnosis, so I think it's safe to assume she easily get a QO.

Legendary actor, known best for his portrayal of George Feeny in Boy Meets World. He'll be 95 next March!

Not sure why everyone ripping this thread. At this point, he may have less than 60 years left in him.

Several factors really. 1. Celebrities are notorious for living beyond their means. 2. As Young Willz pointed out, end of life care/ critical surgeries can easily cripple one's finances depending on how long one''s incapacitation lasts. 3. She's certainly well known, but most of her roles were supporting roles. She probably did well for herself, but I doubt she was raking in millions with her roles. UK actors and actresses also don't make as much as their US counterparts.
-
She is in far better shape than Rose Kennedy was at her age. I think she'll see at least 99.

I feel assassinations fall under what i'd classify as wild card hits. Yes they happen, as we saw last week, but the thing is, we're never going to get advanced warning of them. Putting elected leaders on a deathlist because of the possibility of assassination is such a gamble, it will 99 times out of 100 result in a wasted pick. Not to mention, placing government leaders on a deathlist could result in increased scrutiny from government security and intelligence agencies, who might think we're egging on political violence to secure deathpool points. I think the one exception would be leaders like Zelenskyy, where assassination is an everyday threat.

Personally, I feel politician related threads should not be created until after they have left office, unless they are elderly, or have known health ailments.

If Jimmy Carter somehow manages to live for another 6 months, and Trump looses the election, we may have for the first time in US history, 7 living presidents.
-
Im a little surprised Nolan outlasted her. I'm starting to see what ulitzer means about Nolan being an attention seeker.
-
I keep pressing on this thread when I want to check the Jimmy Carter thread.
