Perhaps a change of one of his other names - de Pfeffel to de piffle, as that's what comes out of his upper arsehole.. -
COVID 19 - Second Wave

Possibly doubtful, given what some reports are saying - besides what's fun? -
6 weeks of freedom from July - that's overly optimistic isn't it? They've yet to lift restrictions yet and with talk of them continuing till mid / late July nothing much is going to change

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
MrSpud42 replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Anything but the ruddy news. I have been watching Guy Martin's Battle of Britain though. Though there's more than a few good suggestions recently on here -
This has probably already been said, but 24hr news channels and hourly news updates on the TV / radio. Do we really need to be constantly told about how crap or otherwise things are? With the rise of the web it's easier to find out what's happening than turning on the TV et al. I found out about Phil's death on here - short and concise.

Just guessing that he might be hanging on till a biography is published/released. It was due out last year but due to a small, little worldwide problem it's been delayed to hopefully being released October this year.

France has from what little I've heard is going into another lockdown. As soon as the numbers rise in the UK - lockdown again... And as for the length of time - I've heard from a good source that the current lockdown was originally going to be until September - all that matters is to keep the infection rate down. People will have to put up with it - staying safe, staying home, saving lives is more important. And when the new policing bill goes through how will you be able to protest.
-
Hmmm - bad taste joke is of course " Doctor, Doctor, he's been drinking all the Scotch again".......

Is it bad that I only found out about Phil's recent hospital stay from this forum? I don't watch, read or listen to any news. The current situation is normal life - I have the attitude / thought if you didn't know what life was like beforehand you wouldn't know anything different. So I've chosen to forget about anything that happened previous to last year.

That's a bummer to hear about Johnny Dumfries. He did an interview with Motorsport magazine last year.

This is the way things are going to be....... Perpetual situation of 1 month of partial opening, 1 month lockdown. Tax rises will pay for furlough. And when you can't gather in groups larger than a handful of people there will be no protests - for safety reasons. And big fines for those caught out of their local areas except for work reasons.
-
Yep. I believe it. And now a precedent has been set with social distancing and lockdown regulations I can see them continuing. That is, when the numbers of infections and deaths go above a certain number the areas or country will have to enact them.

He has also appeared in the Alec Guiness TV version of Tinker Tailor. He was also in the video of the Pet Shop Boys version of Always on my mind.

Eva Marie Saint?

I've been avoiding the news since around March, as its rarely been good. I come on here and find that the old git Sutcliffe has popped his clogs. Finally.

Has Michael Schumacher been suggested yet? There hasn't been much news about him recently.
