I dunno how much she has been mentioned here but famous Hollywood legend Teri Garr has Mutiple Sclerosis and is going to be 80 this year. Hasn't acted in anything for nearly 15 years now because of her condition.

I think we need a thread for Paul Biya. At 91 years old he is the world's oldest leader and the longest serving with a five decade reign. This guy has future immortal written all over him if you ask me. Given he is the longest reigning non monarch in the world, I think that means he deserves more than the odd mention on this forum.

Yeah. I've read a few articles about the situation out of interest. I have a few observations. 1. We really slept on John Amos in turns of death pooling. There were a few articles that clearly showed he was on his way out. Maybe they were reports on here around the time but I doubt it. 2. His daughter is a medicine healer who may not be the most reliable source of information about him. 3. That being said the situation with Amos and his son seems very off as well. There's a video from last year showing John Amos accusing his daughter of abuse but you can see his son at his bedside. It comes across as sketchy and rehearsed. 4. For a period of time him and his son were doing Tik Toks together and doing a lot of traveling around the US. There's a good article of the situation Here. 5. My take. When Amos was being interviewed he seemed pretty competent,mentally and was adamant that he is being treated well. At the same time his son does things that are quite shady (like recording a private conversation between Amos and his daughter and sending the conversation onto The Hollywood Reporter without solicition). The whole dynamic just strikes me as off.

It's 100% a marketing tactic. Last time when she released a record they literally faked her death.

Honestly, I think it's the wise thing to do in this scenario. The method of hiding it when a Muslim does something bad only makes the situation worse (Rotherham, Cologne Dublin and Southport where it lead to people incorrectly assuming it was a Muslim and targeting them). Makes sense. Lots of people forget but Trump nearly started a war with Iran right before covid started. From their perpective Trump is highly aggressive and unpredictable. Like, if trump gets elected I could easily see him picking up where he left off and going to war with Iran. Israel and Russia are two very different countries. In actuality, Putin doesn't give two fucks about Palestine. I've always found it strange how Putin never utilised the west's support of Israel as a gotcha when they try to condemn what he's doing in Ukraine. He will condemn Israels treatment of Palestine as a token gesture to his allies but that's it. I don't think Putin cares about Iran at all. Putin's main concern is the US and China. He wants to play both sides to advance his agenda of recreating the soviet Union. It's very possible to be Anti Palestine, Anti Iran and Pro Russia. On trump's side a lot of that assessment has to do with skin colour. Quips aside, Trump has shown time and time again that, above all else, he loves authoritarianism. Trump loves Israel and Russia because they are bullies. And he hates Iran and Palestine because they can be bullied.

The Liberal left and fascists tend to favor non violence because opposing the system nonviolently benefits them. Right now we are living a late stage capitalist society where more and more people are marginalised particularly young people. It's harder for young adults to make a living than ever before. Trump and Biden are two sides of the same capitalist coin. Trumps 2025 agenda and the fact that the supreme Court ruled to grant presidential immunity is alarming. For legal reasons, I can't say I support or condone what's happened but I'll leave you with food for thought. Those that make a peacefully revolution impossible make a violent one inevitable.
