Would seem a bit embarrassing if a 100 year old was drop 40

Saw an opportunity to quote Godfather and I took it.

Who’s being naïve, Kay?

Got to 15 names but I couldn't locate my Hamas roledex in time to find another 5 "minor ones"
-
I would have... had I found enough other notable Hamas names to fill a 20 member theme team
-

My apologies for forgetting to submit mine alphabetically. Was a rush job. Going to wait to see who was rejected before posting my team here.
-
Oh yeah, you're right. Clearly an oversight on my part. In the shadow list game my first sub was Alan Bennett so he'll take Blake's place.
-
Only had 2 rejections this year, which shocked me, honestly, given some of the names that went through. Submitted a lengthy list of subs this year expecting more would get the boot. Rejections: Theo Burrell, Frank Caprio Team: Airisto, Lenita (Finnish business leader, promoter of Finnish industrial and cultural exports, TV journalist, author and beauty pageant titleholder) Annand, Eddie (Scottish footballer) Bajrakitiyabha (Thai princess) Barenboim, Daniel (Argentine-born classical pianist and conductor) Barney, Lem (American former football cornerback) Battersby, Roy (British television director) Beckenbauer, Franz (German former professional football player and manager) Bolland, Rob (Dutch music producer) Burrow, Rob Cowell, Simon (conservationist) Doherty, Shannen Fauntroy, Walter (American pastor, civil rights activist, and politician) Field, Frank (Brit politician) Flatley, Michael (Lord of the Dance) Garbin, Tathiana (Italian retired tennis player) Giorgi, Eleonora (Italian actress) Jensen, Erik Jeremy, Ron (porn star) Bird, Charlie (Irish journalist) Laukkanen, Antero (Finnish politician) Lee, Jeanette (“Black Widow” pool player) Lewis, Stephen Henry (Canadian politician) Lugovoy, Andrey (Russian politician who poisoned Alexander Litvinenko) Marin, Jose Maria (former President of the Brazilian Football Confederation) McMichael, Steve Mutombo, Dikembe Myers, Dave (English television presenter) Nay, Kong (Cambodian musician) Nolan, Linda Pressler, Larry (former US Senator) Rantzen, Esther (English journalist and television presenter) Scolyer, Richard (Australian pathologist) Shau Kee, Lee (Hong Kong business magnate, investor, and philanthropist) Sinwar, Yahya (Hamas leader) Solomin, Yuri (Soviet and Russian actor and director) Sugaya, Daisuke (Nippon TV Announcer) Thomas, Michael Tilson Whale, James Williams, Corey ("Homicide", former pro basketball player) Yunos, Jamal (Sungai Besar Umno chief) Jensen and WIlliams went in for Burrell and Caprio

Not carried over from last year: Frank Field - just sick of this drama queen Janey Godley - same thing as Field Rhod Gilbert - clear scans Katie Keltie - fraud

Attempted to make a Hamas theme team, at the 11th hour, but fell about 5 names short of a full team.
-
He's the joker on my secondary team

To be identified named as "Doe 36" when a list of Epstein associates is made public next week. My guess is this won't effect his health much and will be received like most atrocities politicians commit, at least here in the states, with supporters turning a blind eye while everyone else calls for his head until they get bored/something else comes out to distract them. Either way, if this leads to any legal action I expect he'll receive a blanket pardon from Biden on his way out of office in early 2025.

Not quite 40, and only been doing this for a handful of years, but it seems the game is already passing me by. There's clearly a new level of internet "celebrity" I've no understanding of.

Voted for Dick Cheney due to a technicality... can a man without a pulse really be considered alive?

Golf: The 19th Hole
Salmon Mousse replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
Figured this would be the appropriate place to go over this year's golf theme team submitted to the DDP. The DOA Tour: Bob Toski - JOKER (97) - played professionally but gained real fame (within golf circles) as an instructor Carl Jackson (76) - one of the most famous caddies in the game's history. The image of him embracing Ben Crenshaw, after his emotional 1995 Masters victory, is iconic. Doc Giffin (93) - Arnold Palmer's personal assistant for more than 50 years. Obit risk but tributes from notables within golf should be plentiful when he passes. Jill Thornhill (81) - Distinguished amateur player. Won the 1983 British Ladies Amateur. More recently elected president of Walton Heath Golf Club. Jack Nicklaus (83) - The actual GOAT (though I'll still partial to Hogan) continues to look rougher and rougher with each passing year. Al Barkow (92) - Prolific golf writer whose words have appeared in basically every publication to cover the game. Has also written many golf books. Tony Jacklin (79) - Been fighting lymphoma since 2014. Jack Burke Jr (100) - Oldest living major champion. Tiger Woods (48) - Every time he makes a comeback another meltdown is right around the corner. Upper body has unnatural swelled up recently and was sweating profusely, like a man who is once again heavily abusing, at his own tournament a few weeks back. Bobby Nichols (87) - 196 PGA champion Chi-Chi Rodríguez (88) - The man had style, swagger, and one of the most exceptional shoe-polished hairpieces you'll ever see. Neil Coles (89) - 55 professional wins and 8 Ryder Cup appearances Brian Huggett (87) - 16 time winner on the European circuit between 1962-1978, 1998 British Senior Open winner, 6 Ryder Cup appearances Tommy Aaron (86) - 1973 Masters champion Peter Oosterhuis (75) - English professional golfer and golf broadcaster who announced he has Alzheimer's in 2015 Verne Lundquist (83) - Voice still sounds strong every April when he mans the 16th tower at the Masters for CBS but he's carrying a lot of extra weight for a man in his 80s Frank Beard (84) - 11 time PGA Tour winner with a number of high finishes in majors David Joy (74) - Historian, author, and Old Tom Morris cosplayer. Suffered a severe stroke in 2017. Bob Charles (87) - 1963 Open champion Barney Adams (84) - Founder of Adams Golf, inventor of the Tight Lies fairway wood -

In what I believe to be the spirit of this particular game, I tried to avoid the more obscure names again: Alan Alda Alan Greenspan Alf Clausen Bernadette Chirac Bob Newhart Jeannette Lee Cecile Dionne Daniel Barenboim David Graham Dolph Lundgren Ella Jenkins Esther Rantzen Francoise Hardy Frank Field Franz Beckenbauer Hans Blix James Earl Jones James Watson James Whale Jimmy Carter Jonnie Irwin Jose Maria Marin Khamtai Siphandon Larry Pressler Malachy McCourt Margarita Terekhova Michael Flatley Michael Tilson Thomas Naina Yeltsina Nguyễn Thị Bình Noam Chomsky Parnelli Jones Princess Bajrakitiyabha Queen Ratna of Nepal Alan Bennett Roberta Flack Ron Jeremy Sepp Blatter Shannen Doherty Sidney Cooke Sonny Rollins Sophia Loren Steve McMichael Ted Turner Toby Keith Victor Orena Violeta Chamorro Yoko Ono William Russell Zhu Rongji

Slapped a team together and sent it over via PM

Don't know that I'll be in on this pool this year but, if you do get one from me, it'll be very last minute.
-
Just submitted three teams using the excel spreadsheet provided for the first time.

My team will be in sometime this evening. Thank you
