@Comped please, for the love of god, stop posting your random opinions enmass in almost every thread that has been recently active, it is incredibly irritating, adds nothing to the site and forces users to have to recheck threads and mark your content as read. @friedbutty although you are less frequent in your posts, you seem to see the need in adding unnecessary posts to threads of mostly people on the current list days to weeks to months after the most recent post, which again is incredibly annoying. I don't like to have to name and shame, and I hope neither of you take it personally, but both of you have been irritating myself, and from what I've seen numerous other users, for quite some time.

For the official list I think he's a necessary drop, for shadow lists it depends how many you need to get rid of, personally I'm keeping him as I have the room but if you need the extra space he's a safer option to drop than most 'terminally ill' people.

Last night I finished Blake's 7. Having been a Doctor Who fan since I was young I had always heard great things about it, but even my highest expectations were blown out of the water. That ending left me standing up, yelling at my TV. It's hard to pick a favourite character but it would probably be Vila, with Jenna and Avon coming not so far behind. The only main character who left me feeling nothing was Soolin. Personally I preferred series 1 Travis to series 2. The only thing I knew going in was that Blake left after series 2 and I was fully expecting the series to decline after that, but I found the third series to be the best. Hard to pick a favourite episode, but I think season 3 episode 2 'Powerplay' would probably take it for me.
