Alright, thanks! My (hopefully) final list then looks like this: In no particular order (including few shots in the dark): Burt Bacharach Tongo (José Abelardo Gutiérrez Alanya) Pope Francis Glynis Johns Julie Andrews Dick Van Dyke Harry Belafonte Tenzin Gyatso (Dalai Lama) Rolf Harris Vladimir Putin Sonny Rollins Michael J. Oh, now I see the masterlist, so I guess MacGowan moves on up for Benedict XVI either way(?)

    Shadow DeathList Competition 2023

So, just to make sure I understand correctly-pretty much no more edits and the subs come on? Replaced the late Benedict XVI for Tongo, the peruvian singer who got famous over his "covers" (if you could call them that) of popular songs. Had him on the list this year also; if he's not famous enough or should the sub be already used, then I'll swap him with MacGowan.

    Pelé

I'm afraid that we aren't talking days, we're talking hours. Heard that the hospital that Pelé stays (or stayed?) at didn't publish any health update today, which, along the preparations at the Vila Belmiro, led many to think he's a goner.

Another video from the tent. Don't know whether it's a kinda obscure tribute or some publicity stunt thing else.

    Pelé

Well, both Brazil and Croatia had last-gasp goals in 105th and 117th minute. I wouldn't be surprised if Pelé scored one last-gasp as well.

    Hollywood Possibilities

IPF since 2014, not COPD (or atleast haven't heard of her having it). Still, average life expectancy for IPF ain't that high and I don't think she's had a lung transplant. Was deciding between her and Duke Fakir for this year's, so she's perhaps going on my next year's.

    Dead Pop Stars

Went on his Discogs, according to which his real name was Marius Gerhardus Ferdinand Wilsterman (seems like he was Dutch, supported by two other sources 1 and 2). Then I went to MyHeritage, and this came out. It could be him, as the guy in the image was born in Suriname (a former Dutch colony) and the time period also pretty much checks out.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2023

Think Joni Mitchell could be a fair shot for next year. The "Joni Jam" concert from July reminded me of Johnny Cash's last bit (looking fairly frail, pretty weak voice-but that is expected from someone turning 79 this November), with Mitchell still seemingly recovering from the brain aneurysm she suffered back in 2015. However, still mentally "here", so could be a complete miss, but I wouldn't underestimate the possibility of her Urge for Going.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Hopefully I still have time to send my list in (in no particular order) Noah Chomsky Tony Bennett (visions, man) Emperor Akihito Leon Spinks Bob Barker Angela Lansbury Jimmy Carter Henry Kissinger Harry Belafonte David Crosby Abdul Fakir Joni Mitchell Tom Selleck (same as Tony Bennett) Michael J. Fox Alan Alda James Earl Jones Larry King Sinéad O'Connor 6ix9ine (most likely will get shot for snitching) Frankie Valli Robert Redford Roman Polanski Pope Benedict XVI Jerry Lee Lewis Ric Flair Vince McMahon Rosalynn Carter (If Jimmy goes, she goes; If she goes, Jimmy goes) Murray Walker Bob Newhart Dick Cheney Mikhail Gorbachev Bill Cosby Ryan O'Neal Sarah Harding Yoko Ono Ozzy Osbourne (wouldn't say it's that likely, normally would stay "safe" with K.Richards and Iggy Pop, but the Parkinson's, man...) Loretta Lynn Bob Dole Rush Limbaugh Harvey Weinstein Alain Delon Pelé Mel Brooks Great Khali (had some health issues in recent years, also acromegaly can do a lot-still, a wild guess) Betty White (would be a surprise, imo I think she'll be here 'til she is 105-ish, but who knows) Julian Assange Sir Bobby Charlton Franz Beckenbauer Leslie Phillips Prince Philip
