Louis van Gaal just announced he has an 'aggressive form' of prostate cancer. Has been treated 25 times for it already. Turns 71 in August and has no other known health issues. Edit: He got diagnosed with it late 2020.

New picture of him: And translation (according to Google Translate): "My friends, I know that there are people looking for news about me. So I send it here. Today I took the day to take care of my look! Since the beginning of the pandemic, my wife has been my favorite hairdresser. Don't you think I'm handsome?"

20. The 20th hit will happen in November causing us to anxiously await the whole month of December for the record-breaking 21st hit, only for it to never happen.

The only footballer out of the three who won't see 2023, I reckon.

And @chilean way too, because Inez van Dullemen died two weeks ago. https://netherlandsnewslive.com/writer-inez-van-dullemen-passed-away/292851/ I could have sworn I did a search for her name, but apparently I didn't.

I assume Mario Zagallo, Giovanni Trappatoni, Gianni Rivera, Just Fontaine, Francisco Gento and Luis Suarez will, all for different reasons. And maybe Kurt Hamrin will, too. I can see Lorenzo Buffon getting one if he dies when his cousin Gianluigi is still a player.

In addition to this, Jansen went to see the doctor after reading the biography of fellow two times World Cup runner-up Piet Schrijvers (turns 75 in December), who has Alzheimer's since at least two years ago, because he recognized some of the symptoms from the biography.

A couple of months ago I made a list of surviving coaches of the finals of the three main European club competitions (European Cup/Champions League, UEFA Cup/Europa League and the now defunct Cup Winners' Cup). After much consideration of when to cut off the first two lists out of fear of them getting too cluttered, I decided to cut them off in 2002. First mentioned team was the winner of the final. European Cup/Champions League (until 2002) UEFA Cup (until 2002) Cup Winners' Cup

Talked about her cancer and her career in an interview with Good Morning America yesterday. Was still in good spirits and said she will keep fighting until the end.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

How stupid. The surviving silent film actors page is gone too and there were only two or three left on that page. Indeed, why didn't they just keep those pages around until the last one has died? Except for the Golden Age of Hollywood one (youngest is in their early-60's) couldn't take too long anyway.
