Law could be considered a miss too because, unlike some who were kept, he was known to be terminally ill, even when it was something unpredictable as Alzheimer's. But at the same time, had someone like Eastwood been dropped instead and then died the same way as Carl Reiner did while Law had survived the year people would have gone 'why was Eastwood dropped instead of [random old person who's survived the year]???'.

No dead tag, so she must be still alive. DL 2026 pick?

She's interviewed by phone in this video, but denies (link to Variety article) she's cognitively impaired.

I know we already moved past this subject and determined everyone but a few have died off-radar, but considering has a Wiki page in English (why?): It seems he died some time before/in February 2012. This is the obit of a widow whose husband was named Antolín Santiago Juárez. The obit also mentions a son named José Antonio de Santiago-Juárez López, which must be José Antonio de Santiago-Juárez (English wiki), whom is Antolin de Santiago's son. It's not absolute 100% certainty but names match up. Also, this man has pages in two Wiki languages and both were made long after his death. His Spanish page was made in 2017.

Is this also the first time two siblings are DL hits?

An unusual busy, ominous month when it comes to health updates from our celebrities. Singer Emma Heesters (wiki), who's turned 29 last week, announced her stage I cervical cancer is actually stage III, the above post about Manuela Kemp and now TV presenter Martijn Krabbé (wiki), son of actor Jeroen, announces the 'form of cancer' he went public about last year has actually been terminal lung cancer the whole time.

Tippi Hedren shortly after her 95th birthday (which is in 4 days).

No more Le Pen death hoaxes, no more Linda Nolan attention seeking in the media. End of yet another era.

Assuming this is a proper obituary for this game, @MariNisia 'steals' the next hit with Barbara Clegg. Congrats!

From journal de bord to journal de mort.

That's a question you could ask for many picks on the list and the answer to all of them is the DL doesn't care about who takes which spot. Regarding Attenborough, I'm actually surprised he came back. After randomly missing out the last two years, whereas fellow healthy 95+ year olds DVD and Brooks were kept on the list, I thought they just didn't want Attenborough to become a hit.

I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused.

I brought her into this game, but I'm actually not sure she's still alive. She's a former script girl and former 'lover' of Rock Hudson who was interviewed for a 2018 biography about Hudson. She could very well still be alive, but as that interview was many years ago she could also have died off-radar since.

Maybe a stupid question, but do we know for sure he still lives in the UK? Or, is there any chance he moved abroad after he was released from prison?
-
Congratulations, drol! A well deserved victory.
-
I guess the most famous surviving 1925-born celebrity who isn't already on the list will be on the 2026 list.
-
Starmer-Smith.

Saint, Hedren AND Novak. That's half of Hitchcock's still living leading ladies on the list. Vera Miles, Shirley MacLaine and Julie Andrews is the other half.
