As an Italian, I hope next year to see two Italians on the DL 2023: former president Giorgio Napolitano and Gianluca Vialli (even if I hope that Gianluca will recover from his cancer). And Berlusconi must be dropped from the DL 2023: he is still in good shape.
-
Let's hope so!!!!!!!
-
The link it's not working...

I absolutely agree! Back in January was really surprise to see on the list Berlusconi and not Napolitano! The Berlusconi-Napolitano switch it MUST happen! If Napolitano makes it to 2023, of course!

Here the full list on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardinals_created_by_Francis#27_August_2022 No one of the non elector cardinals will appear among the 'oldest top 10' (four of them are born in 1942 and one in 1941); from 27th of August we will have the youngest living cardinal: Italian Giorgio Marengo is botn in 1974. We will also have the first ever created cardinals from Tirmor Est (Virgílio do Carmo da Silva, born in 1967), from Singapore (William Goh Seng Chye, born in 1957) and from Paraguay (Adalberto Martínez Flores, born in 1951). -
Pope Francis has the same age of Silvio Berlusconi (both of 1936 put the pope is three months younger), but he is more rightful to be in the DL rather than Silvio. Now let's see how these walking problems will grow.
-
Then I say 2024 is more likely than 2023.
-
He still doesn't look great... I will be a little bit surprised if he will makes to the 2023 DL.
-
I think you are right... Berlusconi may have some health problems, but he is not a DL pick.
-
So he's perfect for the DL 2023.

Such a relief he passed away! Italian medias are almost not giving the news. His coat of arms: He was the oldest Italian living cardinal. Now this 'title' has moved to Salvatore De Giorgi (06/09/1930). -
Well..... I am not so sure anymore. He is on my 2022's DL but I think he will stand at least for the next year.
-
I think he will be fine; Italian news websites are almost not longer talking about this hospitalisation.

Yes; in Italy the pre-nup do exist but thery are not so commons. One of his sons, Pier Silvio, second-born but the oldest male among his sons, wasn't attendi at the cerimony.
