Maria Riva (wiki), Marlene Dietrich’s daughter and occasional actress, turns 100 today

I don’t think Bruce is going anywhere anytime soon. If Joanne Woodward is still going… I think Wendy Williams is the one to be worried about.

Eva Marie Saint Nancy Olson Ann Blyth Lee Grant Mamie Van Doren Ray Anthony Isabel Perón

Not dying for 110 years is quite an achievement though!

The media are finally starting to talk about how emaciated she looks lately https://www.standard.co.uk/comment/wicked-ariana-grande-cynthia-eviro-thin-b1193895.html

Nominated for a Grammy. Surely he must be the oldest nominee ever?

Joan looks amazing and could easily pass for 20-30 years younger

Jesus Christ I thought “it” had finally happened

And you could also (sadly) add Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud, Tom Parker of The Wanted and Paul Cattermole of S Club 7. A lot of big 00s/10s British groups have lost a member recently. -
Really? There’s no shortage of troubled pop stars, if you included all of them the list would be much longer than 50, and the majority of them don’t end up dead at 31. I mean, Ozzy Osbourne and Stevie Nicks have made it well into their 70s!

What about this warrants a facepalm @La Tombe
-
Can’t believe it! Wasn’t really a fan but so unexpected, and to have seen him since the very beginning of his fame on The X Factor, it’s sad to see how it’s played out. I think this is probably the most shocking/unexpected death of the year if not decade.
-
It’s not even loading for me… just hoping I’m not on some list now!
-
And if you include nominees, Ann Blyth was nominated all the way back in 1945 and is still with us!
-
One week left of Jimmy Carter’s double digits!
-
Sad to see him likely declining but I wouldn’t write him off yet. I think it’s a wait and see, he was still making appearances until very recently.
-
It’s the exact same thing we’ve been hearing for years repackaged (and you let us know every single time). The fact that he seems more alert and engaged with the world is a little more relevant, but you never seem to post about that.
-
The headline is actually “As Jimmy Carter nears 100, he is buoyed by Harris’s run for president”. Of course you find and lead with the negative.
-
RIP Norman Spencer, I’m just happy he made it to supercentenarian status and wasn’t secretly dead for years!
-
At this rate we’ll be lucky to finish on 3, the grim reaper will start giving us some back
-
June Spencer and Caren Marsh Doll are slightly older
-
You’re doing an awful lot of mental gymnastics trying to make yourself seem somehow righteous in this situation. I’m entitled to an opinion. How is what you’re doing different from what you’re accusing me of doing?
-
I wouldn’t really consider any of them Deathlist worthy, their longevity far overshadows their other achievements. A former First Lady is on a different level
-
To be fair how many actually notable supercentenarians (for reasons other than age) have there actually been? I can think of Ruthie Thompson, Gina Lollobrigida’s aunt (lol), Frederica Sagor Maas, and that’s about it. A former First Lady making it to 113 is pretty incredible
