Well you’ve jinxed it now haven’t you! I’ve been thinking the same but wouldn’t dare say it
-
I’d put Olivia de Havilland as Melanie in Gone with the Wind above all of them personally! It’s the most iconic movie of all time, still the highest-grossing movie ever when adjusted for inflation, and her part was bigger than most of the others mentioned (with the exception of Kirk Douglas)
-
She told us why! Ozempic
-
Mango of all people facepalming this, really!?
-
Interesting but still exceedingly rare and the average person wouldn’t know who they are. Kirk Douglas is/was Hollywood royalty!
-
Haha I’m very familiar! Just doubt there’s many siblings both born in the 1910s and died in the 2020s, so I find it especially interesting that a household name like Kirk Douglas and his sister did. The odds of that must be astronomically small
-
Two siblings born in the 1910s both lived to see the 2020s!

I don’t understand people moaning about closing this thread nobody’s forcing anyone to read it?
-
Presumably for some comic relief

At this point I wouldn’t be that surprised if he did outlive Biden. He’s only 18 years older

Well yes but their strategy this year seems to be just old, 32/50 are over 90! So he did fall through the cracks a bit -

If Biden’s post-presidency lasts as long as Carter’s has (so far) he’d be 125 (and also the oldest person to have ever lived)
-
He looks good for his age
-
Ann Blyth. 95, and she must be the earliest nominated Oscar actor to still be alive? She was nominated in 1945 for Mildred Pierce, I know Eva Marie Saint is the oldest but she was nominated much later
-
Her recovery is pretty remarkable. Who could’ve imagined 9 years ago after her aneurysm that she’d be performing at the Grammys in 2024?
-
First big miss of the year?

Ray Anthony, the last living member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, turns 102 today. His ex-wife actress and 50s bombshell Mamie Van Doren is almost 93 and still very active on social media https://x.com/mamievandoren/status/1748827910172238193?s=46&t=hCmCvEd2I7xzAe0kC7j-dw

Why would they do that you can always stop reading it
-
What else are people supposed to talk about on a Deathlist forum? You could just not read it
-
Surely Isabel Perón is overdue to be added?
-
Joanne Woodward has had it forever. If you have the money to make sure you’re taken care of I don’t think it’s necessarily a death sentence

I hope he at least makes it to his and Rosalynn’s 77th anniversary on July 7. Of course, now I’ve said that he’ll die July 6th
