Portuguese coach Artur Jorge has died aged 78.
He notably led Porto to its first European Cup in 1987 and Paris Saint Germain to its second French Champion title in 1994.
A great loss for FC Porto and PSG fans (like me).

Romanian Canoeist Vasile Diba, Olympic Champion at the 1976 games, has died aged 69.
He also won 2 bronze medals and one silver medal in 1976 and 1980.

He was the last surviving Icelandic Olympian from the 1948 and 1952 Games (Summer and Winter).
Now the earliest surviving Icelandic Olympians are : Valdimar Ornolfsson (flagbearer) and Jakobina Jakobsdottir (1956 Winter), and Svavar Markusson and Gudmundur Gislason (1960 Summer).

French Michel Jazy, silver medalist in 1500 meters at the 1960 Games, has died aged 87.
He hold 9 world records and was European Champion.
He was very big and popular in France, truly a huge loss for French sport.
