    Lynch Mob

I think that people here also really did not want him to die, especially so soon. He was more-or-less universally admired, and not yet incredibly old. He also said that he'd try to direct from his house, so he clearly wanted to carry on and it seemed like he could.

    Lynch Mob

A friend of mine and I were just discussing this song from Eraserhead before a class. "In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song)". Rest in peace to a real legend.

    Activists

José "Cha Cha" Jiménez dead at 76. He founded The Young Lords, which started out as a gang and became a civil rights organization. Pretty important name here in Chicago.

    Ringo Starr

I have some insight (that I can't prove whatsoever nor go deeper into so feel free to take this with a grain of salt) that's he's not nearly as healthy as he appears. Given what I know, I'm fairly confident that Paul will be the last of the four remaining. Regardless, I'd say both are on track to make it to 90, bar a serious illness or two.

    Life In Prison

It seems like those whose sentences have been commuted only killed one or two people, whereas those who remain committed acts of mass murder with some kind of terroristic edge.

    Crashing Companies

The Container Store files for bankruptcy, but the CEO maintains that they're here to stay. I guess people don't put as many things into things anymore.

    Jimmy Carter

He's clearly faking it. We ought to ditch this harlequin for 2025.

Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?

I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go see Paul McCartney (member of The Fireman) in concert last night at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. I travelled all the way across the pond for this show, and I was not disappointed. I had heard that he sounds terrible in concert now, but I have to say he did much better than expected. Even if he did sound a little rough at points, he's still a living legend and I'm incredibly fortunate to have seen him.

Bryan Johnson (and other anti-aging people)

This is one fascinating dude. Really the whole history of Zion, Illinois is a hell of a story. Still a pretty strange place all these years later.
