In hell with my friends, and probably my fellow deathlisters as well. See you there? Dogs or cats? Dogs (obviously) lib/con or lib/lab?

    ???

I know how I'm going to die, but not when. I've a sure-fire method of suicide, and I'm happy with this. If I knew when I was going to die but not how, I think it would totally ruin my life; I'd never be able to stop thinking about that moment and all the possible permutations of varying causes of death. I'd put clocks all over my house and on my pc wallpaper counting down the seconds etc. and just before I was due to die I'd probably off myself anyway in an attempt to avoid a potentially more painful and prolonged death, thereby generating an ironic paradox of self-fulfilling prophecy. What's preferable? A tepid but well-made cup of tea/coffee, or a nice hot one that's been poorly made? All this proves is that I prefer answering questions to posing them. As a sociopath, I don't really have much empathy with humans, so I could be here all day posing questions which, ultimately, could be equally well posed by a computer program, for all the emotional engagement they ellicit. Good luck with the thread though, hope it runs and runs. Nice hot one. Up or down?

    Abdelbaset Al-Megrahi

Al-megrahi is 58 today and is "celebrating at home with family" and some reports say he could live for 5 more years, darn.

    World's Oldest

Because, dear sir/madam, to add some spice, this year's list has been created only with people who are expected to live for at least another 5 years. Between 3 and 13 deaths is mediocre. 1 is a record, of sorts.... 13 would not be mediocre

    Nederlandse Dead Pool

I believe I had him both on my CPDP Theme Team (frontrunner now) and my Hartlepool team (but i geussed he would die in march so placed Al-Megrahi and someone else before him). Anyhow he was nr. 35 on the Dutch counter deathlist (so if we were in competition with the DL then we just made a great start) congratulations

    Deathlist 2010 Feedback

I really doubt it, I didn't think she would make the list because she is still very obscure. I also think the amount of campaigning helps contributes with them not being picked. And I personally had a lot to do with that, and therefor I like to apoligize. I believe names like Bourgieos, Heesters, Luxembourg Jean etc. suffered under the many posts that were started to get them in the top 50. I also think people like Dio, Hartson, Withers and Ginsberg weren't mentioned because they were on my poll, again I am sorry for that. I don't know if I just really dislike the list or if it just still feels uncomfertable because it is new. I was thinking more something like 9, 10 or 11 Why don't you put the DL top 25 into your NDP, just for fun like?

    Pope Benedict XVI

So does that mean that if it wasn't Christmas it would be OK that he insulted the Pope? Can we only call Father Christmas a fat bearded twat with bad taste in fashion eleven months of the year? 'Always insulting people', yet you claim that you haven't been here for two years, so how would you know he's always insulting people (he isn't - granted he can be a miserable fucker, but can't we all?) You're talking bollocks. And I am so glad you pay your taxes, because I work for the council (yes, shock horror, I have a proper job), so your council tax pays my wages, and is in fact paying for me to have the next week off to sit gazing out over Looe Beach and get drunk. Bottoms up! LB if you "work for the council" you clearly don't have a "proper" job :-)

    Linda Uttley

I have little to say on the subject, but I do like that spelling of the acronym. It's one of those words that entered mainstream usage from technical jargon. It lost its capitals in transit. regards, Hein Acronyms don't have to have capitals and my feeling is that RADAR above should be radar.
