Jim Farry The former head of the SFA (Scottish Football Association) has died of a heart attack aged 56 (or possibly 55, depending on which bit of the same article you believe). I recall hearing his name quite frequently in the football press as Scottish football lurched from one crisis to another. He was eventually ignominiously sacked for gross misconduct for allegedly deliberately delaying the registration of Jorge Cadete and preventing him from playing for Celtic.

Eddie Baily dead at 85. The inside forward played nearly 300 games for Spurs between 1946 and 1956, scoring 64 goals. He scored 5 goals for England in 9 appearances, making his debut against Spain in the 1950 World Cup Finals in Brazil. He later went on to play for Port Vale, Nottingham Forest and Leyton Orient before returning to White Hart Lane in 1963 as Bill Nicholson's assistant manager.

Here's a link that works. This is only other link I can find. He died on Tuesday, and not even the BBC appear to have anything yet (though Wiki has noted his date of death). I'm very surprised at that - he was a great actor.

Johnny Sheffield The child actor who played Boy in the "Tarzan" movies opposite Johnny Weissmuller has died aged 79. Ironically for one noted for his agility amongst trees, he died following a fall from a ladder while pruning a palm tree. Following his "Tarzan" successes, he starred in a series of films as "Bomba the Jungle Boy" before giving up acting in 1955.
