Update Some doubts about his state of health

Elaine Young "Estate agent to the stars". She's got so many obit links, thought she is worth a mention here. She was once married to the actor Gig Young, apparently, although his IMDB entry has him married 5 times, and the only "Elaine" amongst them as having died in 1993! "Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, Warren Beatty, Burt Reynolds, Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Stevie Wonder*, among others". * It's got a lovely view over the Pacific Ocean Mr. Wonder

MH, you said that last time! Does he owe you some money or something?!
-
Following the death of Slick Goodlin last October, another of the "Right Stuff" test pilots Scott Crossfield has died - in a plane crash, would you believe?! "In 1953 [he] became the first man to fly at twice the speed of sound".
-
Scott Brazil Emmy winning director who worked on many shows such as "Hill Street Blues", "The Shield", "CSI Miami", "Nip/Tuck", "Buffy", "Baywatch" (!) dead at just 50. Can't say I'd heard of him, but it's quite an impressive list of credits. IMDB entry

Looks like the Cap'n and Octopus dead-heated reporting that one! I suppose the headline should be "Spark out"!
-
You see, Tony Blair and co are doing us all a favour, helping us live longer. The way pensions are going we'll all have to work until we're 100+ like this guy, then we can die a few weeks later and save the state lots of money!

It's obviously not a good week if you're Asian, working in the film industry and have previously been kidnapped: Shin Sang-ok ... spooky!
-
Top Bollywood actor Rajkumar has died aged 77. He was kidnapped by Tamil bandits in 2000, a story I remember. Very famous in his field obviously, but still don't think he should be on the near misses thread, so placing him here.

Lady Die, you're not Anne Robinson are you?
-
Another pun on one of his song titles (already done to death elsewhere): "A Town without Pitney". I read that he also wrote Bobby Vee's hit "Rubber Ball". Don't think he'll be bouncing back to anyone now!

Do percussionists count as drummers? : Don Alias ... Never heard of him, but maybe he was known by another name

Re Spinners: It mentions in the above link link that Cliff (Hall) was 80 in September 2005. I would guess he would be by far the oldest of the 4. Had a quick scan, but can't find any exact birth dates. The others are Hughie Jones, Mick Groves and Tony Davis.

How about Christopher Lloyd to play Michael Foot?
-
Checked IMDB for you. Ian McKellen played Profumo in "Scandal". Ralph Brown (?) played Biggs in "Buster".
-
Iain, I think you are getting your breakfast cereal confused with your Motor racing. A mistake anyone could make. I'm off to drive round Silverstone in a box of cornflakes this weekend...
-
Peter McGovern Apparently he composed that hilarious ditty "In my Liverpool Home" (made [in]famous by "The Spinners").
-
Have a go with this one... I'll kick it off with: Sven: I am thinking if it is a boy, you should call it "Sven" Victoria: Yeah!, Like the number on David's shirt!

How my husband died in our Shania Twain sex game "Shania Twain sex game" - is that a new Waddingtons board game? I'd like to play if it is, but hope I don't suffer the same fate as Mr. West
-
... probably not something they stocked at "Private"!

Slightly more information here Indeed, Yahoo still haven't updated that link. Maybe they have someone working for them who is so keen to be first with the info that they can't be bothered fleshing it out with some details. Iain maybe?!
