It tends to be reliable in the main, but I nearly put the conductor Norman del Mar down, but checked on another site and found (as I suspected) that he's been waving a celestial baton since 1994, so not 100% reliable. I'm open to any corrections!

The Grauniad site has just done his obit today. For a moment, I thought I was on to a scoop! Esp. with it being a drummer Late obit

    Eddie Albert Dies

Another obit "still doing push-ups and shooting baskets in his driveway until last month" - quite a guy, let's hear it for him. Although we may revel rather ghoulishly on this site when another one goes to meet his maker, that is not to say we can't also appreciate and applaud someone like this who made the most of a very long life and got personally involved in many worthy causes.

    Richard Pryor

Update Fair play that he can take all this sh*t and keep his sense of humour, but it would appear that it's getting to him now, and his long-suffering wife

    Robert Farnon dies at 87

I got "told off" for a double posting the first time this came up, so this makes 3! Oh for those halcyon days when that search engine worked perfectly!

    Harry Redknapp

Surely Mr. Souness must be a better candidate after the season he's had (Bowyer, Dyer, Bellamy, Robert, etc)! He certainly has some history on the dodgy ticker front. He may be due for another visit to the Alex Hospital (or its North Eastern equivalent) very soon! My favourite quote regarding Mr. S. was Manchester local radio reporter James H Reeve who on hearing that Graeme had been sent off yet again commented "I can just picture him walking off the pitch with someone's leg under his arm". Wouldn't want to wish him ill really, as what would we do without his entertaining purple-faced rants at the ref in post match interviews! Football would be much the poorer.

    Kay Walsh

I see her IMDB entry (Kay Walsh) has her down as Sometimes Credited As: Grace Stansfield which is surely an error as this was the real name of! Gracie Fields!

    Near Misses for 2005

Yeah, sorry about that! The search thing would be worth getting working again. Also, didn't realise anyone else would deem him to be famous enough!
