Read Any Good Books Lately?

Much better. Now where did I put that credit card? Books are bloody expensive in the Netherlands. We have this medieval cartel here, there's no price competion in Dutch books. Every bookseller gets about half of the price. Imports are not part of the cartel, but the shops double prices anyway. /:) regards, Hein I could photocopy my copy at work and post it to you. I'm sure my employer and the author wouldn't mind. PS: this 'ere looks interesting and is free. From the chap who draws Dilbert. -

I have. It's not quite as good as Star Smashers of the Galaxy Rangers by Harry Harrison. -
Kylie, probably.

I voted Drunken Genius, though the description doesn't do you justice, Brimley.

Bad day for long-named playboys of nobility: Sheikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aged a mere 15. http://www.albawaba.com/en/countries/Bahrain/193475 What this site doesn't mention that one other one does: It was not known how the prince came to be driving on a public road. Under Bahraini law, one has to be 18 years of age to apply for a driving license Ah well.. S**t happens I know a chap who worked in Oman who said you had to watch out all the time for members of the Royal Family of all ages driving around like loonies. Apparently the Highway Code doesn't apply to nobility in the Middle East. You just have to get out of the way, and if one of them runs into you, you're in big trouble. I suspect whoever it was got in the way of that particular Royal will be having something amputated for his carelessness.

Star Smashers of the Galaxy Rangers by Harry Harrison. The best book ever written, it has everything. Comedy, romance, pathos, death, adventure, you name it. A bit like Mr. Nonsense, in fact. -
Ah, come on, admit it...you've forgotten the last verse and you've just made that up! They said that to Dizzy Gillespie, you know.

Kohl has a new girlfriend apparently, according to Mrs. N. That could kill him or could give him a new lease of life. Look at Cronkite, you never can tell. His predecessor Helmut Schmidt might be more interesting for us. He's not quite as fat, but he's not been terribly well with his heart for a while now. I considered him for DDP last year. Might even have had him on there, can't remember.

Don van Vliet has had a mention before on these pages, I believe.

Type your name with your elbow. -
Voted no. Defeats the point of being a politician if you give your opponents things to use against you.

Mr Grobler, Was 1. g4 named after you? Oh, and how's your health?
-
Yup.

Perhaps a trip to Margate is in order. Or if you're very nice to him, Notapotato might lend you his. I'm afraid they're no longer in the best of nick. I'd be pleased to lend them to you for a bit if you want though.

Sorry Windsor, my mistake. That's George W. Bush's birthday. I'm always confusing those two. Thanks everyone else too, for pointing out those mistakes. I'll get on to it right away. And I'll put in the team I completely missed. Looking forward to calling Josco a Dutchman, Notapotato.

Do we get to see her having her snatch milked? Your making that up aren't you Iain. They said something similar to Dizzy Gillespie, y'know. PS: On reading that the actress who is to play Mrs. T. had been in "Open All Hours" I had to look her up to see if it was the woman who played Nurse Gladys Emmanuel. But it isn't. Shame.

The players who have personal biographies etc. are (mostly) the ones who noticed that there was a field on the entry form for that kind of thing. You can still add them. send us a mail to deadpool@n*tapotato.com Otherwise you run the risk of having one written for you. Thanks for the compliments everyone, we do our best. Sorry T4H, I was convinced your team was from MPFC.

OK, Mr. Godot, it is up. The Hartlepool Deadlypool Everyone please check their teams for inaccuracies and bad links. Thank you. I'll send out an email to everyone later today, probably.

OK, so we've got a little behind in our orders, as the butcher said when he sat in the bacon slicer. Sometime tomorrow morning for sure. It's a new site and has to be tested thoroughly.

These words from the chap who has Ross Davidson as his Joker, I'm willing to bet an awful lot of people have Davidson as their joker. Simply because he's a dead cert and he's not over 80. I must admit to thinking he was under 50 myself, though.

Perhaps. Is that a perhaps yes, or a perhaps no? HCW, I thought you were the woman in this relationship.
-
Perhaps.

Deathlist at New Year is like church at Christmas. Every bugger turns up and the place is full, whilst the rest of the year it looks like Bolton Wanderers' ground on a wet Wednesday morning. Stayin' seems not to have joined in any of the hymns and to have slipped out just before the collection.
