Ideas and Possibilities for 2006
Tuber Mirum replied to Death Watch Beatle's topic in DeathList Forum
You see, I'm not as green as I'm cabbage looking. -
Steve Irwin would be one to keep an eye on in that category. By the way, this isn't really a very nice thread, is it? when you think about it. What was it the big bearded pointy-hatted fellow said?

Most Obsessive Deathlisters

Nevertatti. -
Depends on the dogs of course. And the owners. You have to feel sorry for the dogs sometimes. But also for those poor buggers who run over dogshit in their wheelchairs. I suppose dogs, like drugs, musical instruments and to a certain extent guns and internet fora, are harmless enough if kept in responsible hands.

Why should he worry - he is after all NOTapotato. Of course I could be a potato in denial. But I would deny that. -

How about thirty posts in a single day? Have we ever had that before? Is it necessary? Or even desirable? -
That is the first interesting thing anyone has posted today. I had often wondered who Heimlich was.

There was already another crash recently. Somewhere on the French/Italian border if I remember right.

Anyone remember that character in Viz, back when it was still funny? "Born with Lime Jelly in place of a brain, Jellyhead was completely useless" PS: I don't see why NOT THE AUTHORITY need be blocked; he seems so much more clever and articulate than his antithesis.

Yup, sad, sick bastards the lot of us. No mates, acne, the works. Can't all be like you, salt of the earth and life and soul of every party, y'know. Now bugger off. Sir my arse anyway.

Certainly if today's standards are any yardstick, he isn't going to have been going to have talked as if he were going to have been brought up in the city of Aberdeen. But in the surrounding countryside less so, I fear. But speculation is a terrible thing. As is frostbite.

Wow! That's where I was born too! I wonder if we could be related? (Wouldn't call him "cantankerous", though.)

WW1 Survivors vs Titanic Survivors

These chaps seem fairly well-informed on the subject. -

Last I heard, they were illegal in many countries including the UK. -

"Tontine" Wow! That's a word not heard often these days. -
Banshees, the way you posted that, it looks as though you wrote all that crap yourself. I was about to give you a sound and well-deserved flaming. And no, I couldn't be bothered to read more than half of it either. If I'd known it was from Simon and not from you, I wouldn't even have started reading it. The Queen couldn't afford to pay to have Windsor Castle rebuilt?! I mean to say!

Looks like she's on her way to the clink.

I'd never heard of him either, but then again I'd also never heard of this lady who has managed to merit an obit on the BBC.

I think it was entirely appropriate to mention it, the applause from the people listening outside St Giles' demonstrated that, but McCrirrick would have helped his own credibility and made his point more strongly if he had left it at that, and not gone on to complain about other political matters. He was obviously quite emotional and fairly nervous as well.

I'd like to know where one could find an unbiased view of someone as contentious as the Thatch. But in the main, I don't disagree with you at all, Yeti. Or Ronnie. I'm just reading Thatcher's book, "The Downing Street Years" You have to admire her clear-headedness and efficiency in the way she did what she did. In stark contrast to her bumbling, indecisive predecessors. Just in certain areas where she appeared to have psychopathic prejudices, she employed the "decapitation to cure a headache" technique rather more enthusiastically than was strictly necessary. A woman of incredible talents which, had they been used for good, would have made the world a much better place in my humble, biased, ill-informed opinion. And no, I'm not really that keen on what is known as "democracy", but don't get me started on that. I think she probably will get a state funeral, though there will be much opposition to it. Perhaps a little discreet sponsorship would be in order, to ease the burden to the taxpayer?

Well, perhaps you aren't the best man for that particular job, Hein. -

Dylan, I too was intrigued by your Avatar. Could you point me in the direction of more similar pics? Pleased to learn that Banshees' (Banshee's? Bansheeses?) Avatar is Alesteir Crowley. Are you too Banshees a follower of the Nonsensical Ramblings of the Great Rankin? Hein, how about getting on the phone to this chap? Nobody ever took offence at a polite inquiry as to their current state of health. Might be an interesting project to see how many of the (surviving) listees can be directly reached on the telephone. -
Leading Irish chef Robbie Millar has wrapped his Maserati around a tree, killing himself in the process.

I can heartily recommend reading this thread in its entirety to anyone who hasn't done so already. It contains some of the funniest material on the whole Deathlist.

By which time Tempus Fugit will have about 1100. Not bad considering he only has about 100 at the minute.
