The moral of this tale is...don't sleep in the bin. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20090714/tuk-ma...is-45dbed5.html

Not dead, but his career as a chef probably is... http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20090714/twl-bl...is-3fd0ae9.html

At least he inflicted damage to the top part of his body... ...so he didn't go south of the liver...

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20090709/twl-to...in-3fd0ae9.html Home brew containing pesticides & chemicals. Hmm. I've had some ropey (and potent) booze in my time but nothing (as far as I know) quite that extreme. So that's why Oz & James didn't pour Miracle Gro into their home brew.......

You've probably found the most relevant thread on the right subforum (proof if need be there are so many random threads in random places) if a little late, I wouldn't know, I ignore the DL gestapo, however on the subject of etiquette could you turn it down a little? Please. Of course feel free to ignore me like I ignore the other 57 anal bastards around here. I like a rebel, except of course when they choose to use comic sans or support southampton What's wrong with Southampton?

The only way that would happen is if they'd got him stuffed and mounted. Ooh..that sounded like something Talbot Rothwell would have written... Better give Anita a few pennies while you're there - sounds like she could do with them... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/m...5000-debts.html

Jack Tweed wants to open a restaurant in honour of Jade Goody... http://www.mirror.co.uk/most-popular/2009/...15875-21267529/ Does the phrase "kebab shop" spring to mind? (I've just noticed that this was reported in the Mirror on 10 April, but it only reached the news headlines on BBC Essex this morning. Someone's a bit behind with their reporting....)

I wish we could go back to December 1799, so I could use that knowledge to my advantage and put you on my shortlist for the year 1800. Even if you're not famous.

How the feck can you "speak like a homosexual". By talking in a highpitched voice like someone is pulling on your sack. Hmm... know a lot of GAY people and none of them speak like that The only person that springs to mind is Jimmy Somerville And Joe Pasquale. Yes.. but he's not actually gay... the point I was making to feckwit above is that you can't really "speak like a homosexual". All the gay people that immediately spring to mind e.g. Matt Lucas, Elton John, Peter Mandelson, Boy George, George Michael, Ruper Everett etc. don't have high pitched voices and speak like any other bloke! Elton John is gay? Please tell me you're being sarcastic... Jimmy Somerville only sings in a squeaky voice. When you hear him speak he actually sounds quite butch.

Just read that Dora Bryan is currently "extremely frail and hardly eating at all", and was too ill to be transported to London for a fundraising gala in May. Watch this space...

Well, this really puts the kibosh on the new tour. But I thought you were suppose to have the farewell concert before you died? Anyway, the funeral/body disposal could cause a problem. If they bury him, how long will he take to biodegrade? Or if they cremate him, will his face emit toxic fumes? Except, of course, he never did have plastic surgery, did he? RIP Michael. Scha-mone!

Fings Aint Wot They Used To Be..
thefunkyfaz replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I didn't get where I am today by trying to give classic sitcoms a 21st century makeover. Great? Super? I think not. While we're on the subject of TV, bring back the days when the I in ITV really stood for Independent - lots of smallish regional companies with their own distinct identities rather than this nationwide conglomeration with its impersonal corporate branding applied to everything but the local news programmes. Anglia, Southern, Westward...we miss you. -
I was thinking that, they should have used one from her Golden Girls years... Is it just me, or is she trying to conceal two chunks of Toblerone? Anyway, this will really put the kibosh on Justin Lee Collins' "Bring Back The Golden Girls", if he was planning it. Which he probably wasn't.

Stephen Hawking no doubt loved it too - he has a sense of humour about his disability as proved by his numerous appearances on Victor Lewis-Smith's "TV Offal" - anyone remember where one of the gay Daleks was tickling him with a feather duster prompting an electronic "oh no, not the feather duster, har-he-har-he-harharhar" response?

Just when you thought that things couldn't get any worse.... Jade: The Musical! http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090423/ten-ja...ed-ea4616c.html

Told you so. Well, almost - it's at the church rather than her house. But told you so anyway. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20090326/ten-re...dy-ea4616c.html

Well, as expected the public outpouring of grief has accelerated - it's only a matter of time before a "book of condolence" is put in place outside her home. My one regret in all this...that I didn't move to Upshire last week and open a florist's - I'd be a millionnaire in no time. One tribute read "you May Not have known Where East Anglia Was But you sure knew the Way to our Hearts." Excuse me, I've got a bit of sick... Even Stephen Fry has said..."I suppose she was a kind of Princess D (Diana) from the wrong side of the tracks" It's all very sad, any kind of cancer is something that you wouldn't wish on anyone. But elevating Jade to the status of the next Diana with this mawkish (thanks Boris Johnson!) reaction to her demise is a bit OTT, especially when there are people dying of the disease every day. But it was only to be expected. Here's some more media feedback... http://www.anorak.co.uk/celebrities/204767.html

And she's joined all the other legends of entertainment that popped their clogs at 27 - Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, etc etc. 27 Club Don't forget Desert Orchid...

Special Offer... http://www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/J/Jade-Go...CFQulQwod5AX-qA 1/3 off Jade's perfume range! Now, are they selling it cheaper to get rid of bulk stocks on the basis that they soon won't be producing any more of the stuff, or will it continue to feature on the shelves of Superdrug for the foreseeable future, in the same way that you can still buy those revolting Linda McCartney Burgers some 11 years after her demise? Time will tell, folks, time will tell...

I wonder if Channel 4 will cancel this year's Big Brother as a mark of respect for Jade? We can but hope.....
