Movie Stars - Two Trilogies?
Monoclinic replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
People have the strangest websites... There's a few actors on this list! I'll leave you to ponder who is the tallest and whether they ever played a leading role. Based soley on my interpretation of your original question Leslie Philips should only count if he has been in all the carry on films surely? He may well have done I don't know. Or does this mean we could also look at James Bond films and other long running series for people that have been in at least of said three movies? -
Rumour has it there were people down under before we started sending convicts. As to how they got there is still widely debated but there are some that believe polynesian people arrived in the pacifc on rafts. Then there is evidence of 14th century Portuguese cannons in north Australia. I know this is pretty much like talking about Patrick Moore in the weather thread but I just thought I'd see what other people think about how the migration of the original inhabitants occured.

Tis a shame I quite liked Lord Death. Only kidding. Glad to hear you are sticking with LFN.

Whilst looking through my MP3 player the other day I began wondering what is the most popular English language song title. i.e. Different songs, same title. I noticed a few repeats but the title "All I want" caught my attention appearing 5 times. By the way none of them are particularly any good (by Offspring, Skunk Anansie, Puressence, Reef and Stone Roses) Anyone know?

Seen Any Good Films Lately?

I'll have to admit that I didn't think Dr. Strangelove was a good as its ranking in those "Best 100 comedies of all time" type programmes which, unfortunately, C4 (UK) manage to find a never ending source of topics to explore. It is somewhat funny but, as discussed elsewhere (I believe, or maybe I dreamt it) about comedy and the aging principle, perhaps you had to watch it back in the 60's to fully appreciate it. -

Just thought of one more if I can have films that are just about to come out? Matt Damon - Bourne + Ocean's 11/12/13 ? -

I am trying to think of a Potter actor. First I thought I was on to a winner with Alan Rickman then remembered a key point that he died in in the first Die Hard film- haven't seen the others but guessing he is not in them. So my call is for Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon and Mad Max. I will continue to ponder over Potter! -
Serious mistype there, in my IMHO it is the passing of a true git; racist git, sexist git...

Tis a shame. I thought LFN was a funny name!

Not a religious settlement, or at least not from your angle of the sidewalk. I understand people get married for all different purposes but ultimately it has a religious foundation, and 'For Gay people' were not going to change rules just because god loves them for who they are. If you want to be gay, I really could care less. Just don't become Rosie O'Donnell. And talking about another subject, if this country keeps getting immigrants, learn English. Were not learning your language. you've already learnt our language Which one English or Engligh?

Surely a CHAMPIONSHIP season would involve playing teams from the championship? Such as, for instance say, the mighty Saints? Though I am already fairly depressed at the thought of another season in the doldrums facing the likes of Blackpool (!) and Scunthorpe (!!), to add Carlisle to that list would indeed be adding insult to injury.

since when did deathlist become a hospital? I know people who spend time in hospitals make better choices, but huh? Methinks you've bashed the nail on the head and gone slightly off cue. I believe it is supposed to read patients, play on words and all that. What do patients make... no not prizes but potential hits for DL perchance?

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2007

Whilst we are on the subject of pointless online tests has anyone tried out the world's smallest political quiz? The political group that agrees with you most is... LIBERTARIAN LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%. Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 60%. -

I have worked or would be interested in working as a professional college student. I tried my hardest but I found it doesn't pay the bills! Extroversion ||||||||||||||||||||| 63% Emotional Stability ||||||||||||||||||||| 66% Orderliness |||||||||||||||||||||||| 76% Altruism |||||||||||||||||| 60% Inquisitiveness |||||||||||||||||||||||||||| 90% You are a Persuader, possible professions include - entertainer, recruiter, artist, newscaster, writer/journalist, recreation director, librarian, facilitator, politician, psychologist, housing director, career counselor, sales trainer, travel agent, program designer, corporate/team trainer, child welfare worker, social worker (elderly services), interpreter/translator, occupational therapist, executive. Computer says NO! Most of those careers would fill me with dread! How on earth things like librarian sneeked in when I answered the complete opposite (I couldn't keep quite that long!)...going back to double check I haven't screwed up! -
The pdf list stretches to 90 odd pages! Now with these awards given out twice a year you'd think you would meet more people who've got these silly medals of the bathtime commanders. In my lifetime I personally know two people. One was an English teacher who at some point in her life had been a mayor, the other was of dual citizenship and didn't even live in the same continent. Oh, I suppose tenuiously I can also now count Michael Eavis, who almost ran me down on his bike just near the Pyramid stage!

Arry Mcnally is a good guy, I'm thinking about sending him a little gift. To confess I don't usually type with both hands, I only use my left hand alone. But I'm right handed. Some people might say learn with both hands, I could accept that but I would take money out of my wallet and bet I could type faster then 8\10 people in a matter of 30 seconds. I've been using the Internet since 1996 and it's just the way I learned. However, I'm guessing the accuracy will be below par.

You are not alone, I had low for everything except a high for histrionic. I was waiting for someone to get those kind of results too! Though I think that alone should up my paranoid score! -

After you Mr Scream I'd be interested to see Mr. Scream's results too. Here are mine though they're probably not that accurate. The yes/no answers are rather limiting Disorder | Rating Paranoid: High Schizoid: Moderate Schizotypal: Moderate Antisocial: Low Borderline: Moderate Histrionic: Low Narcissistic: High Avoidant: High Dependent: Low Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate URL of the test: http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv URL for more info: http://www.4degreez.com/disorder/index.html I inputted my data and found out that my personality was worth $2.99. -
I'll get the squid ranters going by saying our "mate". Levellers - What a beautiful day - "When Guevara said that's crazy, and ordered up a bottle of wine" Manics - Revol (Lot of name checking there!) - "Che Guevara, you're our target now" Indian Girl - Rolling Stones - "Mr. gringo, my father he ain't no che guevara" Pet Shop Boys - Left to My Own Devices - "Che Guevara and Debussy to a disco beat" Los Fabulosos Cadillacs - Gallo rojo - Apparently about him, (sounds the right topic for this Argentine group) no name check though only this - Gallo rojo tan valiente, Comandante de este barrio (Red Cock* so valient Commander of this suburb) (* not exactly Cock (maybe Rooster?). See thread mentioning cocker spaniel as to why cock could be appropriate) Does the "incesticide obsessed narrator" in Evita count (damn it why didn't I go for her, my first Avatar on this site and all - she has a whole musical, and thats a lot of songs. (albeit ones that more or less sound the same) Then the "Hasta siempre, Comandante" might just name check him. Don't know who did it originally but wiki tells me Joan Baez has covered it which I can't believe seeing as she loves singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic. I think I am probably only scratching the surface too. I'm sure ppl out there could think of more references for El Che del Fidel, Ernestito.

Okay, here's one for discussion: cocker a person who promotes or patronizes cockfights. Origin: 1680–90; (Game)cock + er, i.e., gamecock fancier spaniel 13c., as a surname meaning "Spaniard;" as a name for a breed of dog of Sp. Origin, c.1386, from O.Fr. espagneul, lit. "Spanish (dog)," from V.L. *Hispaniolus "of Spain," dim. of L. Hispanus "Spanish, Hispanic" I therefore conclude that a "Cocker Spaniel" [qv] is literally a Hispanic person who fancies cocks. Discuss at your leisure. Ricky Martin? (I know technically he's probably not Hispanic, but he's definitely a cock fancier.) This is all far too crude for me. Though I would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone of this quality shot.

Now that's not nice Monoclinic. I'm not a nightmare, I went over the edge a little bit saying 'I'm every womans' but honestly if I was in the mood to be on the market and I was honest about everything, my bids would be high. Your being very obnoxious. Not nice at all. I understand occasionally I don't behave, but that doesn't mean you can call me 'a nightmare'. Sarcastically 'I'm so hurt' Because in reality I've stood up for you while others were talking behind your back, calling you 'crude' so I see your not trying to be friends with me and that just isn't cool. I'm leaving the door open for apologies. Well I hope you don't catch a chill. I'll be the first to admit I am crude. It's how myself and my peers from various stages of my life (except of course childhood) have always interacted. I don't care if it's one of the lowest forms of wit. However spontaneous one liners always raise a laugh or a smile amongst friends (who would expect no less and likewise return the favour) and for me, these are some of the most important things in life. If I have offended anyone with this crudeness, I apologise. Though I have clocked those who also like to be crude so keep up the good work, you are keeping me entertained! -

I love how you say, Colourrrrr ... very French. Almost like Monoclinic or Slave To The Grave. No I have 21\21 vision. I could get a little more sun and I have height and I'm every womans dream. Thanks for asking. I hope Handrejka and SttG will back me up in saying that these dreams are most likely cauchemars. -
Was this thread created just to see how many people would google "sick dick"? Oops actually forgot to add my contribution. Fear not on the dickless front there is always the surname to consider. i.e. Julian Dicks. He must only be about 40.

5,290 US$ - I'm guessing it's the noxious chemicals that did it for me. Though I don't see how this nonsense that chemists live shorter lives could possibly be true when you see the obits in chemistry world*, the majority are late 80s and 90s. Though I have long suspected there is a certain stigma with families publishing younger deaths (unless tragic accident) and thus they slip under the radar. *RSC members magazine - always on the lookout for old lecturers!
