    Michael Crichton Dies!

I remember Michael Crichton being interviewed (on Parkinson?) when he talked about Jurassic Park and the little* 6-foot velociraptors being more deadly than the T-Rex. It made sense when I realised he was 6ft 9ins.

That complaint would be better directed to the people on this site who take 'Dead Pools' seriously. I just dislike the celebrity culture, and in this case I can only side with a quiet 'celebrity' like Andrew Sachs against noisy vultures like these two publicly-funded buffoons. If you don't share my outlook, I really can't understand why you post on here. Ever heard of the phrase " If you lay with dogs you get fleas?" You are on the Death List site, dead pools or not, you have accepted that you are part of its aim, structure and content. Dont try and distance yourself from what this place was created for. We all accept what goes on here, why are you different? No, I dont neccessarily share your outlook, and so what? What has your outlook got to do with Death List? The outlook of DeathList has more in common with Celebrity Culture than the rejection of it!! Where exactly is it for you to try and understand why I post here? Whats it got to do with you? What I post, how I post is my business, not yours. You really began to lose the plot when you pulled that old Chestnut out. I don't want to understand why you post on this site. If I felt that the overwhelming majority were as shallow as you, I would cease to do so. People like you might have driven those like myself, who hate the cult of celebrity, away from this site recently. It won't make any difference to my own occasional visits. This IS a site for Death List afficionados, but other, nebulous (eg "celebrity") issues are discussed under Extra-Curricular. Isn't it possible that both your arguments stand up - depending under which forum they were being discussed?

    Football

There was, and most enjoyable too. Beers were a bit pricey but the rain stayed away and the Saints saw off the Chargers 37-32. Memories of last year's semi-fiasco have been expunged. Sorry, I thought you were both referring to Liverpool's majestic swathe through some West London footie team this afternoon.

What....that you're a sad cyber-stalker? Duh? If only you were but a stepping stone...trust me you've reached the other side - and intentions are not what makes you what you've rightly described yourself.

I agree that people who drag themselves to work and ignore the fact that they have "sick days" are an example of selfish behavior. I also agree that playing Justin Timberlink or anyone from Americon Idol inside a public environment is in a way, very uncivilized. (Or at least in my view) It's crucial to keep in mind that inconsiderate people are also usually incognizant. The solution is to ignore them like they ignore you. Buy an I - pod! It's either that or listen to ringtones for the rest of your life. My last thought on this topic is that maybe Windsor is on the wrong bus. It's almost like the Twlight Zone. (It's a special needs bus! Everybody on it is partially deaf!) The final scene would be that even as he isn't aware of this, regular public transportation services are not all so bad. I applaud your ability to type with your toes; given the problems with them tharrr strait-jackets.

    Fat And Fearless

So much for USA prison austerity...a lard arse is too fat to be fried immediately, so is permitted to maintain his obesity (which sort of defeats the object). If there was an issue about finding his vein, I'm sure it would be simpler to have pinned the fat-arse face down in the prison showers for a week or so......and let nature take it's course. Who needs to puncture a vein when you can plunge into a canal. Job done!

Unforgiveable......I really, really, REALLY should have checked for a date of death (especially given this site's material). Thanks for the correction.

    The Dead Of 2008

Doesn't surprise me that he's died young as he's seemed to have a death wish for a long, long time. Rather surprised it was pneumonia that got him in the end . Shame though, decent actor in the right role. Isn't "pneumonia" a common death cert euphemism for a taboo disease (prevalent in the unprotected, third world)?
