Former BBC Radio 2 presenter Malcolm Laycock died on Sunday, his agent says. Mr Laycock left Sunday Night at 10 - a programme dedicated to music of the 1930s and 40s - in the summer after spending 14 years as its presenter.

In that case you are sorry. It was Jon Pertwee who played the Doctor. Bill was his cousin. I am still suprised I had it almost right, seeing that this was long before my time and I am not a Brit. As a side note, Bill did work with Jon in an episode of Worzel Gummidge.

...like a worm-riddled. mouldy old kebab??? Yes, I know I said I'd never post in the Goody area...I just wish this could close and a new one set up to deal with the Goody detritus/scum that still pervades this world, eg her mum and the numerous kebab-munchers that "mass of fat" shagged.

Ian McCaskill said face to crotch social interaction was a lot better. Yeah, but he's a bit of a dwarf, so he'd be happy with that....after all, Dale Winton's a tall bloke.

Good to see you move with the times there, Disgusted. Seeing how this fancy new-fangled Internet is quickly filling up with vulgar filth, perhaps you might like to investigate another new source of home-based entertainment. I believe it's called tele-vision or somesuch. Better be quick though, before any family-oriented music-hall type light entertainment is taken over by soft core porn-filled, US-centric, violence-based crime pseudo-dramas. [edit]D'oh. Too late. How typical that you should pick on television as your example of home-based entertainment rather than a good book or newspaper. Speaks volumes. For your information I did rent a television to see what it was like but returned it the next day despairing at the poor quality of the broadcast material. I picked television as an example of an entertainment system that "has been invented" recently. Unless you really are some sort of complete ignoramus -- which appears to be a distinct possibility -- you would probably already be aware that the printed word was not invented recently. And if you think television is my home-based entertainment method of choice, then that speaks volumes for you. I can assure you it is not. Yes honez you are quite right, my mistake. Although not any sort of ignoramus (my IQ is well into triple figures) I think I'm already in over-my-head here. I certainly wasn't expecting such a well crafted and well directed riposte and as I have no television, will be spending the next few minutes searching out an apt and amusing "e-m-o-t-i-c-o-n" with which to end this post...... aaaah here's the one *swivel on this you mvtherfvcker* ..and with that final line Disgusted clambered off his high horse. and I shall clamber back on my toilet for another fun-filled day of home-based entertainment. Now, where's that copy of Razzle? PS It's generally frowned upon to count a leading zero. PS As you appear so interested in semantics, I feel I should point out that as "double digit" implies a number within the range 10 to 99, so "triple digit" implies a number within the range 100 to 999. Leading zeroes are never implied in this instance. If the concept of implication is so hard for you to grasp I would suggest starting off more gently with a word game from the television or perhaps "The Sun" newspaper. You said "triple figures"...a zero is a figure....perhaps you've more than one leading zero in your triple??

I'm sure you've been "noted" a lot faster, moosh (spelt phonetically). -
I can see why you're annoyed...."mild learning difficulties"????? There's an overwheming majority hovering below "average intelligence" without the nanny state meddling in their "bedroom shenanigans". There are also women with PROFOUND learning difficulties getting shagged (and pregnant) by their carers....why then is this particular thickee worthy of any media attention more than the other "thickees"???

Spelling and punctuation? What about them? Contribute or f'uck off. It's one thing to spell apostrophe, another thing to use it. Read my helpful book and the day will come when you too will be able to string together a sentence. You're an idiot. (perfect syntax, semantics and accuracy) -
Anyhow...old "robber-nose" Ferguson was right about the fitness of referees. The Villa v Chelsea referee has phoned in sick (delaying the match). [Did this fix it? -- MH]

She's not as stupid as I first thought....no doubt the products are water-resistant. She probably thinks this will help her float - if the need arises. -
Funny ol' game, Saint..... I was with One Man Jury last week and we talked about the Ukraine v England game and what it meant for Croatia. Given the manager had said he'd field a strong team to win the game (to aid the 2018 World Cup bid for England) and being in the position of deciding the fate of Croatia...I said that there was only one solution - create an artificial event that would allow the loser to not actually being beaten. The analogy was a "hero" unbeaten wrestler. If he wins every time, it's difficult to bring through the newbies. What happens is that the hero is beaten (by use of outside interference) and therefore never really lost in principle. To satisfy the England manager's requirement to perform AND to remove Croatia from the competition. the easiest option is to play Ferdinand (and rely on his lack of ability) and get the goalie red-carded. If that happens and England play a brave game undermanned, yet lose, who takes the blame? I think it was well worked-out. Deliberately handing the game to the opposition - especially getting the goalie red-carded (with the added penalty kick bonus) - was a work of art. Unfortunately, their idiot striker couldn't even hit the target.

Is it me....or does Sir Patrick look like a sad, neglected animatronic that wasn't fit for purpose even twenty years ago? OK, it's me. Anyhow, he's been the dynamic, eccentric enthusiast for many years (which probably helped recommission the programme), but it's kind of sad to see the monthly physical decline. Also, it's getting harder to understand what he's even saying now......it's a shame. When I do see the monacled Sir Patrick, I always think "is that what Lord Charles would look like if he aged?" (Hints of Dorian Gray)

Now your talking. If it's bullshit, say so, with the appropriate evidence. I'll raise you Oscar Wilde... John Gielgud...William Burroughs...Sir Arthur C. Clarke...Edward Heath... Joe Meek... There's nowt so queer as folk. Aaron Copland...E.M. Forster....Gian Carlo Menotti Billy MacKenzie, Joe Orton, Brian Epstien... Well done for your enlightening list....I bet there are a load of other famous (and only known to you) gays on the "tip of your tongue". Go on....spit them out....

That site has a little retrospective slide show of her next to the article. I mean, it's fair to think that a 77 year-old might not survive a heart operation, but at least prepare your obituary in private. Went perfectly. Any chance she had Jacko's heart transplanted on the quiet???

I would like racialist football "commentators" into Room 101. Some non-entity pillock (Effan Ekoku) is giving his expert opinion about the Clelsea v Liverpool game. Given his name, it comes as no surprise that he is gushing effusively about Chelsea's African players. The main commentator had to pull him up when he declared that Drogba is the "best striker in the world" Reminds me of that other simpleton THICKO....Ian Wright. He's SUCH a racialist that he can only discuss black players. If it wasn't for positive discrimination, that thick, mouthy lump of s'hit would never be anywhere in front of a camera. I was so glad when ITV Sport booted him out.
