    Pete Doherty

Hold on, it's been over a month since we've heard from PD - better trawl the net to find out what the DL's favourite addict has been up to. Here we go: http://www.gigwise.com/contents.asp?contentid=3372 Honestly, what an arse! DWB

    Elizabeth Taylor

I do like the BBC Website, here is the Beebs take on Mrs. Hilton-Wilding-Todd-Fisher-Burton-Burton-Warner-Fortensky nee Taylor's condition: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/film/4054541.stm Looks like she is making a late bid for inclusion on the 2005 list. DWB

Risen From The Grave (Or The Ashes)

Have a look at the link below. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2004212499,00.html If this prophecy comes true, this could be a devastating blow to the DeathList. Celebs from previous years lists could come back and their scores be wiped-out! A worrying development indeed. DWB

    Marc Almond

The radio news says he is now out of intensive care. On the punditry side of things, I am very surprised nobody did the 'Almond Pasted' gag. Oh, I just have! DWB

    Arafat's (Inevitable) Death

The steady old beeb has posted this report on his health: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3960237.stm It was interesting to read that Israel would let him have treatment anywhere he wanted, but might not let him back in if he got better! Choices, choices . . . DWB

I notice Stayin' Alive hasn't contributed to the list of runners and riders yet. Would Mr. Alive care to enlighten us with his top tip for the drop? DWB

    Ronnie Biggs

Here is a strange snipet from the Mirror: Great train robber, Ronnie Biggs is to release a jazz album that he recorded back in 1974 in Brazil. He has called the album 'Mailbag Blues' saying it was inspired by his life story. The album, available from October 11th, has been praised by music critics. Perhaps someone would like to post a review at some stage? DWB

    Diego Maradona

I noticed this date, but above it has today's date too. I thought perhaps this was an update to a previous report. Oh well, he is still looking good for your banker next year then! DWB

    Diego Maradona

Moosey suggested the cheating footballer as his pick for next year, but things may be moving a bit quicker that even Moosey thought: http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2...tent_324443.htm Could it be an early bath for Diego? DWB

    Susan Cullen-Ward

I notice she married the son of King Zog. Presumably the same King Zog that I posted about a month or so ago. The same King Zog that had me ridiculed by fellow DLers when his sexual bent was doubted after seeing a bit of a effeminate photograph. Well, here is the proof - it's OK to dress up as Zog of Albania - but only at weekends! DWB

    Sharon Osbourne

Here is an interesting interview with the lady herself, in which she discusses cancer, cures and that obit ... http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/news/tm_obje...-name_page.html ... and one of the longest URLs in history. DWB

The Olsen Twins & Christina Ricci

I came across a few references to Christina Ricci suffering from Anorexia. The strangest report of all is this one: http://www.youthnoise.com/page.php?page_id=733 in which she says she 'learnt' to become anorexic from TV programmes. Anyway, does anyone know if she still suffers, or has she got over it these days? DWB

I also saw this report, but could find no word on failing health. Let's hope your hunch is correct! DWB

    Derby Dead Pool 2004

Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2004

Responding to Harry's Cheese Racing post, that web-site reminded me of the annual Cheese Roll held here in England, which encourages headline editors to come with such witty lines as "Cheese Roll Injures Man" etc. etc. So I googled it, like you do, and came up with the following site, which reports on all the great sports this country has to offer: http://www.truebrits.tv/cheese_trivia.html Bog-snorkling is a particular favourite of the TV news, but the choice is fairly expansive.
