Robert Wyatt in declining health and with rapidly diminished memory, sadly.

Aw man, an absolute legend of late night radio and the generally alternative. Has greatly outlived the predictions made by doctors when he fell from a window and landed himself in a wheelchair.

Trump would just stand there, looking at her tits, and shout "fake news" all day.

A shoo-in for every redneck vote at that moment, then

He has a proven track record of beating Trump.

If that's the only reason how about they ditch Biden and get Stormy Daniels to stand?

Came across Bullock's show when looking for proof that a certain song actually does exist and wasn't just Discogs vandalism, and yes it does. If you want what has to be a bottom 10 song ever recorded, here's The Strawbs' seminal left-wing rabble-rouser "Part of the Union" covered by... Jim Davidson.

    Thanks, I think

Incidentally, it pains me to say Darryl Bullock is now making so much money as a best selling author he's packed up his weekly digest of audio shite - because I found loads of left field gems after hearing his show.

...is not proof of what you said, and only involves one shadow cabinet member, not “many” as you said. It is merely a speculative question, based on Reeves' economically cautious nature.

You're really not cut out for political commentary.

But a short and lucrative spell on GB News is probably there for the taking!

We bury him under a car park, "find" him 200 years later and rebury him properly, then the local football club wins the Premier League the following season.

Yeah, that works - Workington haven't been higher than the third tier (and that was over 50 years ago), I'm thinking that's a place that needs a future!

Coincidentally, late last month Brandon Williams returned from his loan spell at Ipswich to Manchester United for a "medical assessment" and hasn't played since.

Oh aye, the player who at 20 years old was - allegedly - harassing a 15-year-old girl online.

The front row of Popular Conservatives in full - add your own captions before the front page of Private Eye gets in there

And the report with the ironic twist that Truss, who was the marquee turn at this gig, remains one of the least popular politicians in the country according to pollsters: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68218299

Politico poll of polls currently has Labour 44%/ Conservative Party 24%

What do you mean? Beat Richard III at what, and last king to be buried in which country?

I think I get it, as and when Charles goes we bury him under a car park!

The RingGo! king, a very 21st century monarch

  10. OOOhhh

Trump DOESN'T have presidential immunity when it comes to the alleged incitement preceding storming of the Capital. This'll now go appeal and probably the Supreme Court with the 6-3 majority he helped install. The gist of this being whether what he did actually fell within his presidential duties. Of course, if a president can do anything with impunity Biden could likely send a SWAT team to kill Trump and claim it as part of his presidential duties.

Joan Bakewell was on The World at One this lunchtime discussing King Charles cancer diagnosis from the prospective of her own colon cancer diagnosis in 2022

Considering all the interest in Esther Rantzen I am surprised Joan (who sounded a little weak) has not gathered more traction here

  12. Kwarteng's the latest to announce he's gone at the next election. Clearly no by-election but this does smack of their private polling being absolutely dire and the suggestion that once safe seats will topple. Quite a few now optiing to avoid a Portillo moment. In other news the monarchy likely did Liz Truss a favour, gifting her a few days to look prime ministerial around the death of the Queen. So, it's sort of balanced out today with PopCon (Popular Conservatism) having a press launch and josting for media attention with the wave of concern for the King's health.

    Oh aye, Kwarteng: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-68214536

  13. Apologies for being a bit tardy with this but in line with every winner since the second title holder Banana has seen fit to ask for a charitable donation - Britiain's biggest organization providing foodbank services is now a few quid better off.

Who said we were sickos, eh?

Chad Morgan, according to his website can barely perform anymore due to arthritis (and the other two million ailments he has), had to cancel concerts last year on doctors orders and according to his site a "farewell concert" will be held in April.

For those unfamiliar with the unique legend that is Chad Morgan, it's this guy. Actually older than Willie Nelson, albeit by a few weeks
