Leukaemia comes in many forms. I know a fellow who’s well into his 70s who’s been living a normal life for many years with a mild form of it. He gets a testosterone injection periodically, which results in his dear wife, as she put it “having a little difficulty matching supply to demand”

A name that hasn’t previously been on the horizon: Wincey Willis? I was surprised to learn that she’s 70. The years have not been kind to her - a recent photo has her looking like Stevie Nicks warmed up.....

Quite shocked when I initially saw this, then realized it was the patriarch of Michael et al rather than the "Steppin' Out" chap.

I was wondering about the LAPD thing. He lived/lives in Malibu (city in its own right, uses LA County Sheriff as law enforcement) and was taken to hospital in Santa Monica (city in its own right, has own police), so quite why LAPD would be involved is unclear.
