Did you hear about the bloke who masturbated 100 times in one night? He fell down the stairs the following morning and broke his pyjamas...

I couldn't agree more - it's a children's fantasy story, FFS. As for Brooker's comment, I've never heard him complain about the title of "The Last Leg" (which he appears on all the time) when the main host has a foot disability... Hmm, double standards? -

This is getting out of hand now... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nme.com/news/music/one-little-indian-change-name-to-one-little-independent-records-to-help-fight-racism-2685507%3famp Not to mention bands changing their name (their old names didn't seem to cause any problems with their popularity beforehand though)... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53180585 This (supposed) "woke" nonsense needs to stop! -

Nipped into a local supermarket yesterday to pick up a couple of items for dinner, and went to the self-service checkout to pay for them... ...it turned out that the previous customer (now long gone) had forgotten to pick up all of their change (£5), which paid for my items as well as leaving me with some change for my paper this morning!

I also thought they were alike when we saw Ruffalo on Norton's show

We went to see 1917 last night - a very good film, the majority of which seemed to have been filmed in one long take (but had apparently been edited to appear as such).

I haven't seen Episode 9 yet (and, due to how well I personally rate episodes 7 and 8, will probably be unlikely to until it appears on terrestrial television) but my vote was for The Empire Strikes Back, with the original Star Wars as a close second. Return Of The Jedi was OK, but not in the same league as the original two... The prequel films weren't a patch on the originals from the late 70's - early 80's... Rogue One, however, I thought was decent. As for the dire Solo film, though - that was around 2 hours of my life I'll never get back again...

Saw it last night in the Phoenix Cinema in Oban (which is tiny, but a great experience nonetheless)! We're not usually into the DC Comics / Marvel franchise-type films, but wanted to see it due to hearing how friends and colleagues had enjoyed it - and we did!

Here here - well said! They feel that the world owes them something, yet do nothing but point fingers accusing people of their "wrongs" and post "influential" shite via Instatwit and Facegram... If they did something constructive instead of bleating on ad-infinitum about the problems in the world, then maybe they'd be more worthy of our respect... -
So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
Winfield replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
It is - it's basically the story of what Jessie did next, but also ties up a couple of loose ends plot-wise from the series. -
