Yes I do. I collect in the general sense and I also have little mini collections within that. My main interests are geographical renaming and demolished structures. I inherited my dad's collection which means I have a lot of nautical related cards. I agree with the bold.

The Happy Birthday Thread
Handrejka replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
The two remaining Dionne Quintuplets, Annette Allard and Cecile Langlois are 90 today. -
My dad had a coin collection, not large but not minuscule either . I was always more interested in postcards so I don't remember what was in but I am wondering what happened to it.

At the suggestion of Toast and similarly to the "Words we dislike" thread I present names we dislike. I'm thinking of fairly ordinary names we don't like rather than the outlandish mumsnet type fare. Robyn or Robin I've already mentioned, Zoe because almost every single one I've met has been horrible and Yvonne for similar reasons and because it sounds awful. I've just remembered Sonya and Julia as well. I don't know anyone by that name though my younger niece was nearly Julia. I just think they sound awful, especially with a northern accent. It does amuse me that Sonya is Russian for dormouse though. For men I can't stand the name Jason for a human though it's fine for a pet.

That's what I though too. Cheeta could be the chimp from the Tarzan films before it was known the whole thing was a hoax. Were animal picks allowed back then? Cheeta - Wikipedia The only Kevin Chin I can find is a pub/restaurant manager in North Wales so not sure what the story was there.

Most Patricks I know have been ok. Zoe is the name I most associate with awful people. There were about half a dozen of them in my year at school and can't think of anything to nice to say about any of them. Every female Robyn/Robin I have met has been a psycho too though I haven't met that many. I had a look at the 2022 list, 45 babies were given my name that year, the same amount as were Ayzel whatever that is. 24 were given my middle name. Edit - 4 poor baby girls were given the name Sukhman! I'm never going to complain about my name again.

Wally Scott, probably not well known to anyone outside the Merseyside area but for those of a certain age he will forever be associated with Sunday mid-mornings due to co-presenting Hold Your Plums with Billy Butler. Tributes to BBC radio presenter who 'made Merseyside laugh' - BBC News

I was convinced Carol Ann had commented on one of my Facebook photos recently but it was in 2020. Sad to hear about Cat, but thanks for letting us know @Ulitzer95 Does anyone know about Lady Die? She stopped posting in 2009. -

We've lost a few of the actors in that, already John Sessions, Julian Sands, Paul Ritter. -
I have been enjoying his podcast. I hope he gets well soon.

Like Angelina Jolie playing Mariane Pearl or Joseph Fiennes portraying Michael Jackson? Actually there was a bit of backlash for the latter, but I don't remember there being much for the former example.

He was doctor with whom Chrissie Rogers character has an affair. I don't think he was in it that long but his character stood out to me for some reason, probably because I really hated Frank Rogers. Edit - Character's name was Dr O'Rourke.

I know him best from Brookside and various radio dramas. I heard rumours of ill health but wasn't sure how reliable that information was.

I don't think I have ever been this close before.

Deathlist Dreaming
Handrejka replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I had a really odd dream a couple of nights' ago. I dreamt that the remaining cast of Babylon 5 were all living together in a sort of Celebrity Big Brother special. This initially included Mira Furlan, but she remembered she was dead and soon disappeared, however Jerry Doyle didn't realise he was dead and was wandering around as a ghost. -

I have seen the film, but many years ago. It's not bad and answers some questions but it doesn't feel very Twin Peaksy either. -
