Went for Bob Barker because I am fed up of seeing him on here.

I had no idea she and Oliver Postgate were cousins.

An old school friend of mine knows about this website and he knows I know about it, but not sure if he knows I post on it (we don't talk anymore). My mum occasionally comes out with things which makes me wonder if she knows but I have never dared ask her.

She will always be Agnes Carpenter to me.

Read Any Good Books Lately?
Handrejka replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Same for me. I might read the sequal one day, but not too bothered if I don 't. I am currently reading The Island of Extraordinary Captives by Simon Parkin about The Hutchinson Square Internment Camp. I live quite literally found the corner from there so it's about time I read up on the history of somewhere which is almost on my doorstep. -
Oh I would have loved those. One of my biggest readers is never seeing them live.

Deathlist Dreaming
Handrejka replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Last night I dreamt that I was at a party and someone stole my walking stick. I don't actually use a walking stick in real life but when I woke up I was briefly confused as to whether I use one or not. -
I can't post a link as on phone, but Paul Sartin of Bellowhead died on 14th September shortly before he was due on stage.

Continuing on the Leslie Nielsen theme, from Police Squad "Who are you and how did you get in here?" " I'm a locksmith, and I'm a locksmith. "

Tony Teare was the last person on Isle of Man to be given the death sentence and that was in 1992. He would only be in his 50s now so possibly still alive. Other people given death sentence on IOM since it was abolished in UK are James Lunney in 1973 aged 21 Graham Frankland in 1980 aged 27/28 Michael Pate in 1981 aged 21 Stephen Moore in 1982 aged 18 I think that's it. All of them could potentially still be living.

The Happy Birthday Thread

Madhur Jaffrey, actress, author, cook, potential future DL candidate is 89 today. -
I have been watching old Brookside episodes and wondering about a couple of people. Cliff Howells (George Jackson). He seems to have had a steady if not exactly stellar career until about 20 years ago, then nothing. Ann Haydn-Edwards (Teresa Nolan) also seems to have stopped working over 20 years ago, but never did that much anyway. I know they are not big names but they were in some big storylines and I am curious. I have given up on finding out of Shelagh O 'Hara is still around.I Not in Brookside, but does anyone know if actress Dawn Beret is still around.

We only have the mum's word that this is what happened. I could also have been suicide.

Some kind of choking game I believe. I know of someone who lost their son in a similar manner, though he was a couple of years older than Archie.

I was considering a soap, not one of those mentioned, but thought it would have been chosen. I was also considering another programme which I am amazed wasn't chosen but I won't say what it is as I may use a theme for next year's DDP.

Michael Staniforth became available to rent on this day in 1987.

Quick question. Does a cast member have to be credited as the same character in their episodes or is it ok if they have had several appearances but as different chatacters? Edit. Submitted my pick.

He was in an Inside No. 9 episode as well.
