I think Peter Quaife and Mick Avory had their own spats, despite Quaife later admitting they both felt like session men at Kinks sessions. If we pit the four founding Kinks against the five surviving Floyds, who dies first? My guess is Dave Davies, assuming nobody shoots his brother again!
I'd say Dave will go first out of the Kinks. He had a stroke a few years ago and doesn't sound too healthy. Ray's suffered from depression in the past but I think he'll be good for a while yet. I don't know enough about Avory and Quaife.
As for the Floyds I'm not sure who'll go first but I think Nick Mason will last the longest

Cheeta the chimp, co-star of a dozen Tarzan films celebrated his 74th birthday yesterday.Any chance of an exception being made for Cheeta to be a DeathList candidate?
He's way past the average age of death for a chimp in captivity.
If Red Rum was allowed why not Cheeta, hell he's probably got an IQ greater than certain human beings.
He's certainly got a geater IQ than most of the ranters we've got on here. Doesn't he paint too. I'm sure I went to an exhibition which included some of his work

Sorry. I forgot it asked for personal details. Here are my results
Strawberry, your subconscious mind is driven most by Peace
You have a deeply-rooted desire to make peace in the world. Whether through subtle interactions with loved ones, or through getting involved in social causes, it is important to you to be able to influence the world in a positive way.
You have a deep respect for humankind. You care about the future of the world, even beyond your own involvement in it, and you inspire others to feel the same way. Your innate drive toward peace guides you in daily life towards decisions that are respectful toward yourself and others.
Your psyche is very rich; the more you learn about it, the more you will understand who you really are.

Takes a while, but have a go at the ink blot test> I did it ages ago and was told I was motivated by reserve. I'll see if I've changed

We did this as a getting to know you thing at work. At the time my pig was just a head with huge ears. I knew what to do differently this time

I only ask because it occured to me over the weekend that the Floyd are the only 60's band of any standing not to have had a member die because of substance abuse, suicide etc?.
What about the Kinks?

Georg Solti laid down his baton on the same day Di popped - might be him you're thinking of. All part of my "Deaths come in 3's theory" you see...Georg Solti did die around then though. The reason I remember was beacuse the Radio Times did a feature on talking about his kind of week and how he was looking forward to his birthday in October, which of course he never got to celebrate.
The curse of the Radio Times I call it. There have been similar situations with that mag and Lord Litchfield and of course Jill Dando

Best ever for us long-time DL'ers was probably that wild and wacky week back in late summer '97, when Princess Di lived up to her name and then Mother Theresa kicked it a few days later. Not that Diana was on the list, but in terms of interesting deaths, that one remains hard to top. Mother T had been a long-term favourite, and was in at number 2 that year.I think someone else on the list might have died right around the same time, because I remember being a bit overwhelmed by it all. In a good way.
Ah summer 97. I still look back on that time fondly. Don't forget just a few months before we had James Stewart, Robert Mitchum and Versace all buying the farm at that time too. Definitely a vintage year for deaths

We know what you're thinking but it won't fit

I was sure that I saw a thread all about Peter Falk, but when I went to look for it.... it had gone. Maybe it was only in a dream???I am a fan of Peter Falk's Columbo. What an excellent brain.... what an excellent catchphrase.... what an excellent boiled-egg habit!
Anyway, was there a thread or am I going mad???
Yes I thought there was too. I searched but couldn't find one. Perhaps we are going mad.
Anyway back to cemetries, I love Russian ones myself. I like the way the put pictures of who's in there on the graves

Gosh you're right. Well that's really shocked me

I've just added to my Rocky Horror collection by buying rare photographs from Perry Bedden's collection autographed by Perry himself.

blimey - happy birthday harry! cracking character actor and sounds like an all-round nice guy.i suspect that with no major health problems he may not be as much of a candidate as we think. i was talking to a friend of mine who used to be an assesor for an insurance company about this guy we know who's 99 and in good health. apparently, the insurance company my chum worked for employed someone to work out the risk on insuring ancient types (i think they all have such assesors, but their actual job title escapes me). anyway, once they get past 90 and they have good health, their chances of pressing on to a 100 are greatly on the up. it's only once they get past 100 - apparently they tend to drop off the perch really quickly - yeah, i know, but i mean REALLY quickly, as though once the subconscious target is reached, everything relaxes a little too much.
Reminds me of a guy I spoke to at work recently. 93 years old and looking for long term investments and then there was my mum's 96 year old neighbour who's just renewed is passport for 10 years.
I think Harry Morgan will be good for a few years yet. Hope so, seems like a genuinely good sort.

Former Roly Poly Mo Moreland is still with us. Can't find an age but she must be getting on a bit. She's 4ft11 and a size 28-30. Can't be healthy
4'11" in which direction?
Both

Will be working for all the Easter period except for Easter Sunday. Will probably be forced to watch the new series of Dotor Who
-
I think he still crops up on those charity appeal things the BBC does at Christmas. I'm in my late 20s and still remember him but I doubt anyone under 25 would.

I was thinking about Ralph McTell recently (Streets of London) he's still going strong though it seems
Oh and perhaps I shouldn't admit this but I won medals for Morris dancing as a child

Find out which historical lunatic you are. My answer's in my blog

Changing direction completely . I just looked up the Grubleweeds on the net and it seems they're still touring. The little fat bald one doesn't look too healthy though. There's every chance he may do a Gene Pitney on us
