Yeah I added him to my US #1s team this year. Sugar Shack was even the biggest year-end chart hit of 1963 despite not being very well remembered today, a little like Bobby Lewis with Tossin' and Turnin'. Which isn't the most confident augur of his obit chances when Lewis got zilch, but hopefully the quicker local press at least amounts to something Yahoo. Also of interest to me is it's the song that stalled Be My Baby at #2 on the US charts.
