Death is a part of life. The fact that Andy treats death as taboo and something to be feared and not discussed just shows that he has no real faith. Plus its fun and God likes fun.

They wheeled out famed Yankee owner George Steinbrenner at the all-star game today. He looked as if he may die at any second.

Dead Edward Kennedy/Curse of the Kennedys
The Miser replied to DevonDeathTrip's topic in DeathList Forum
I don't completely buy this Miser. What's Vicki going to say, that Ted's on his last legs? I've seen far too many of these stories to be taken in. I remember quite a few times hearing that a celebrity is "cancer free" only to have them die of it two weeks later. Ted's not going that soon but I wouldn't be selling him any life insurance. I don't buy it either but since I don't got him, I can dream.... -

I think this is a good opportunity to renew my plea that (assuming she lives another 6 months) Amy be included in next year's deathlist. The list really needs a drugged out rocker and it doesn't get any better then this.

Should He Stay Or Should He Go?
The Miser replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList Forum
The world needs people who start arguements. I've had my disagreement with BS but he at least inspires posts. I vote No.....and I'd vote no for MaryPort too. -
Well that makes sense.

Damn. I was going to try him in CP's list as I think he will eck out a US obit.

It wouldn't be legit considering it's a personal sort of list, I'd think. Right, since you could claim that anyone is on that list, so it's not discriminating or verifiable. Head bounties should be fine though. Anyhow, Ray Getliffe has apparentely died of liver cancer, which I was completely unaware that he had. Site updated anyhow. From what I've heard, by the way, apparentely Emile Bouchard and the other Ted Kennedy are doing poorly, Smith is frail but otherwise hale, and the rest of the players on my theme team are sprightly for their age, except for maybe Stewart. I lost Tyrone Jones who was going to be my sure thing....

Regardless, if they survive I see a lot of Swayze/Kenneddy/Newman picks.

Looked bad enough for Apple to address it: In response to a question about his health Tuesday, an Apple spokeswoman said [Apple CEO Steve] Jobs was hit with a 'common bug' in recent weeks but he still felt it was important to participate in the Apple conference. The spokeswoman said he’s now on the mend with the aid of antibiotics," Nick Wingfield blogs for The Wall Street Journal. "Jobs’s health is occasionally the topic of chatter because he was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer four years ago, for which he underwent surgery that Apple said was successful. (Apple didn’t disclose that Jobs had been ill until after he was on the mend.) Mr. Jobs is also widely considered nearly irreplaceable at Apple, where he has been the architect of a dramatic resurgence in the company’s fortunes over the past decade," Wingfield reports. "Fortunately for Apple, no replacement is needed."

The classic rock band Yes has canceled its 40th anniversary tour following frontman Jon Anderson's severe asthma attack last month. The 63-year-old singer, who's since been diagnosed with acute respiratory failure, was ordered by doctors last weekend to rest for at least six months "or suffer further health complications," it was announced Wednesday in a statement released by representatives for the band and Live Nation, which was presenting the tour. http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/06/0...ref=mpstoryview

For my category, is "People that I wish death upon" a legit category. If not, I may go with people with bounties on their head (should achieve nearly the same list minus Rosie O'Donnell).

A truly shocking and stunning image. Has it not appeared in a British newspaper? If not why not? Are they protecting us from something? Don't editors think their readers can stomach something like that? The Daily Mirror has certainly missed a trick. Instead of spot the ball we could play spot the gall (bladder), pall (bearer), etc. £10,000 to the one who correctly circles the fatality. My money's on the one on the right, mid-mexican wave, about to go under the wing. I'll take the guy directly underneath the helmut flying in the air.
