I wish I could update you guys with all the goss. I did go to Glastonbury, but opted for Hot Chip over Amy, as I had seen her last year in the Isle of Wight. In any case, Hot Chip were absolutely amazing. There was a lot of talk in the campsite about Amy's performance. My neighbours said that she started well, but was off her face "and then she starting talking sh**" and was escorted out by security. Oh well.

Wow! That is absolutely shocking! Even if he "only" was attempting to intimidate you, that's still not on. I wish to change my vote, if that's possible.

OK, so it looks like people mostly hate the relentless press coverage on Amy Winehose. Fair enough. Anyway, she's now confirmed for Glastonbury. Can't wait!

What does that have to do with anything? Sometimes people cannot cope after breakups, and it has nothing to do with how atractive their ex-partners are. I might even go as far as to say that people fall in love with more than their partners looks. I love it how you have "decided" she is not worth killing yourself over... so who is? Angelina Jolie? Jessica Alba? Eva Mendes? I wouldn't make a broad statement like that... people have killed themselves over much less attractive people than Kate Hudson, believe you me. I also think there's bound to be more to the Owen Wilson suicide bid than just breaking up with his girlfriend. My two cents.

Well, I hope she doesn't get arrested. I have tickets for Glastonbury and am planning on seeing both Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty. I would like to understand, though, why people "hate" her so much... is it because she takes drugs? Is it because since she stopped the spliffin' she lost a lot of weight? Is it because such a heavy drug user is *gasp* a woman? I guess people like Keith Richards had the benefit of a much less invasive media presence... I don't see people writing "I hate Keith Richards and I wish he would die!" like they do when writing about Amy... I personally blame the media for shoving her down our throats every day... but I also think she is very talented AND I prefer the way she looks post tattoos and behive, thank you very much! There, I said it.

Godot: I agree with you (and most other people) that the decision by the junta of the time to go to war with the UK was deluded to say the least. But it was losing that war which lead to the junta being overthrown and replaced by a democracy. Argentina lost many more people to its old military regimes than to the Malvinas war. Enough said.
