Are We All To Die When CERN Sort Themselves Out?
TAFKAG replied to xzandra's topic in DeathList Forum
If scientific conferences are your bag, the boffins will be discussing nippy neutrinos and throwing bread rolls at each other on the webcam later today. CERN's website seems slightly slower than the speed of light. **Tea and coffee will be served at 15h30** -

Red Rum's trainer Ginger McCain has died of cancer. Maybe he'll be buried next to the Aintree winning post too.

It looks like Eleanor Mondale has beaten her cancer.. at least for now. Eleanor Mondale's brain cancer is back yet again. Her prospects look pretty bleak really. She's dead. And talking of Democratic Party senators' 51-year-old daughters who worked in the media, so is Ted Kennedy's eldest, Kara.

Ex-Muddy Waters' drummer and Pinetop pal Willie Smith's big eyes have closed. Poor old notaguest, I bet he'd have loved to have posted this. He couldn't have come up with a much worse pun, though he'd probably have misspelled Smith. Or eyes.

Vidal tells Lorraine Kelly how he's determined to beat the Curse of DDT. Actually Lorraine's a bit too fluffy bunny (not in a Wiccan way) to go there on morning TV, so there's nothing conclusive to be gleaned. He looks sprightly enough.

A unique hit for the Rattly Old Puffins. Roger, wilco and out.

John Howard Davies, former BBC Head of Comedy and director/producer of many sitcoms, has died. Also saw off Benny Hill at Thames TV, I believe.

Could our unstable amigo be tipped over the edge by being incarcerated with the likes of Katona and Jedward? Edit: guess not.

Foreign Personalities, From Stage, Screen, Politics And Life
TAFKAG replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
Gualtiero Jacopetti, one of originators of the Mondo shockumentary films, won't be making my 2012 theme team after all. The links all seem to be in Italian so I won't bother posting one, but rest assured he's morto. -
Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen

Norman Gordon becomes the first Test cricketer to make a ton. -
I just simply cannot picture him in a sports car. The image of Mr Bean in his clapped-out Mini is engraved far too deeply in my mind. Paramedics at the scene said his face was hideously disfigured, but that fortunately for Mr Atkinson the only injury suffered was to his shoulder. (from internet wags)

Not immune to death's icy fingers.

It was a custard pie. Calm the fuck down. WELL WHOEVER IT IS SHOULD BE JAILED! Mr May-Bowles has been given a custardial sentence.

Eebagum, Stan Barstow's not feeling reet gradely, he's kicked t'bucket, lad.

After dropping Jose Alencar and ruling out Liz Taylor at the last minute, I can only say... woop woop! EDIT: Now I'm waiting for an update to say Leslie pushed her down the stairs to get unique points "A post-mortem will be held in due course. Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers from Westminster are investigating." Hmmm. Wow!!! Suicide by drinking acid.... Does that qualify for unnatural causes? "...not suicide, the coroner ruled"

His liver seems to be taking rather a long time to give up the ghost. He's still active enough to have just broken his shoulder. Some interesting developments. Gene Colan's shoulder was actually broken after he was attacked by his mentally ill wife, Adrienne Colan. He left her after the assault and she was placed in psychiatric care after a "self harm incident". Adrienne Colan was found dead at her home today, which "isn't a great surprise" to those who were close to her... Gene Colan's dead. Unique DDT DDP pick for a top ten team.

Sly Stone, someone I'm a bit surprised is still with us, was recently in hospital with heart problems - which enabled him to skip a cocaine bust court appearance. I'd probably be laying off that stuff if I was 68.
