Princess Latifa dead. Just says she died on 3rd. No age given. She was a sister of the current king Salman, and one of his 71 siblings. There can't be more than 5 of the 72 left now? @drol @arghton, any idea?

Updated Voyage for the death of Slim Pezin in January. Another French disco group. Not sure if I'm as keen on this one though:

Session guitarist Paul Martinez played at Live Aid, I think with Phil Collins. I think there's someone with a Live Aid list somewhere but not sure he's on it. Magic Fly is an absolute tune. Shame on the Frenchies on here for not spotting Hammer's death.

    Dying Off The Radar

I contacted the media about this one as this would have been of interest to them given that she played a girlfriend of Elvis in a leading role. Anywayyyyys, turns out Jennifer Holden died in May 2022, aged 85, so no obit for her.

Eugene Raymond I'm not subscribed to this website so I can't open it but death record for Raymond is available through IdentityNumber, which holds all the SA death records. From looking at family trees elsewhere online he likely died in 1990, not 2018 (I don't know where @Summer in Transylvania gets 2018 from the link they posted!). Jan van Loggerenberg Dead in 2022 as already sourced above. I've updated his Wiki. Michal Muller Alive and well in 2016, when he received a medal from South Korea. See here.

Frank Torpey, guitarist for The Sweet and their last surviving original member, died in March aged 78. Was with them only briefly (1968–1969) and never appeared on any of their hits. The other 3 original members were Steve Priest (1948–2020), Mick Tucker (1947–2002), and Brian Connolly (1945–1997).

Obi Ndefo died from heart failure related to an eating disorder, as confirmed by his sister. To be specific, he had orthorexia, a disorder whereby people become obsessed with only eating healthy foods (and in turn it usually becomes more like anorexia because they became fearful of eating almost anything at all).

    Political Frailty

I have it on good authority that popular Scottish peer Flora Fraser, the 21st Lady Saltoun (wiki) died this morning, aged 93. Sat in the Lords from 1979 to 2014 as a Crossbencher. Picked in a few pools on the forum over the years. Whilst I'm here, from the above list the 10th Baroness Howard de Walden died back in July, aged 88, but it wasn't reported on here at the time. Lady Saltoun's heir is her daughter, meaning there are 9 female hereditary peers at current.

    38. Prunella Scales

New interview with The Times with new pics. Discusses her marriage. Still working as she said retirement would bore her. Ain't dying this year. May even outlive husband Timothy West, 89, at this rate. Scales is a lesson for DeathList – unless you know the type of dementia affecting the subject then don't put them on the list. Scales was officially diagnosed with vascular dementia in 2014, but was showing symptoms of it as far back as 2001. It really isn't as quick to progress as other forms such as Alzheimer's.

Last update for today. Hubert Ann Kelley, the female vocalist in pop trio The Hues Corporation, died in Los Angeles last July, aged 76. Entire act deceased, and not one of them made it to life expectancy. Must've rocked that boat after all.

Mick Waller and Michael Leslie were definitely session musicians that recorded on many of the hits. Tony Oakman and Pete Oakman were brought in in 1962 as touring members but I believe they may have appeared on some records. This photo also shows another member of that period, drummer Bobby Graham. This article mentions that John Clare is also an original member. NB2: Based on Pete Oakman's website here, as well as this page I have added Dunn, Graham and both Oakman brothers. Birth details of Tony Oakman here and death here. Harley Quinne Discogs UK pop rock group assembled by Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway, frontman Pete Oakman was formerly a member of Joe Brown and the Bruvvers John Clare 1950 – Living Roger Dean 16 Mar 1943 – 03 Aug 2008 (65) Mention of death John Kitchener 28 Apr 1949 – 01 Oct 1997 (48) Mention of death Billy Livsey 04 Feb 1949 – Living Pete Oakman 12 Dec 1943 – 29 Sep 2023 (79) Obit Steve Simpson no info available 14/10/1972 New Orleans #19 NB: Quite confused over this lineup. On the cover art for the single there are four of them featured. On his website, Oakman identifies the four in the same picture as Dean, Kitchener, Simpson, and himself. However, on The Free Electric Band Facebook page, the bio for John Clare suggests that he and Billy Livsey appeared on New Orleans. --------------------------------------------------------- Updated the 3 entries above. Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds – Alan Dennison supposedly left the music business to become a monk (as you do), so no surprise that his death wasn't reported. However, there are reliable Facebook posts from family members stating that he died last August. Joe Frank Carollo, 85 next week, is now the sole survivor of this group. Joe Brown and the Bruvvers / Harley Quinne – Pete Oakman died unexpectedly last September whilst in Greece. I've attached a death notice. Also a lot of tributes on socials. His death means that Joe Brown is the sole survivor from his hits of the 60s.

There’s an Arthur Capehart on Ancestry (1920–1998). Could be him but I’d need something to link this to. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Updated the above two entries. Letty Jo Randell from The Sex-O-Lettes died back in October 2023, aged 89. Darryl Grant, lead vocalist with Fat Larry's Band, died back in November 2023, aged 76. Given that "Get Dancin'" by the former and "Zoom" by the latter are massive hits I'm surprised neither got press coverage.
