Robert F. Logan gets a Hollywood Reporter obit.

That guy can do whatever he likes to me.

Hollywood Reporter obit for Lisa Westcott. Died 30th July, aged 76.

Thanks Spade. Didn't post anything this year, and hasn't posted on there about her death, so I'm guessing still alive but has deteriorated.

Just looking at the wiki page for The Zimmers. 37 members now marked as deceased. 12 are not though. Are any of them really still alive? For example, Dexter Fletcher's grandmother Grace Cook was a member. She was still living at 90 in 2016 when someone did an interview of her with new pictures... but that was 8 years ago now. She'd be nearly 100. Is she actually still with us?

But so is writing it at 15, Mr. Schofield

Interestingly Soul Tracks say he was 86 (born 1938), as opposed to that earlier tweet that said he was 84 (1940 was his most commonly given birth year). Henry Gaston, who died in 2015, was born in 1935, so 1938 would make more sense.

Thanks YW. I find it hard to believe that Maurice Williams and Henry Gaston are the only members of The Zodiacs who have died. Hopefully more will turn up on the others in time.

Connie Chiume (wiki) dead at 72. Appeared in both Black Panther films as Zawavari, a tribe elder.

Elmo Santiago was born in either 1931 or 1932. Died in 2014 as per forum chat here. Enrico Thomas lived in New York and someone commented on this Facebook post in 2020 to say that he "died a few years ago". Mohamed Nasr likely returned to Egypt, returned to obscurity and was most likely never heard from again. First win was in 1950. He can't be any younger than 25 in his pictures from 1952 Mr. Universe. So on that basis the absolute youngest he could be is mid-90s. I'm going to say most certainly dead too.

I would say that's most certainly him. In all the digging I've done over the years in uncovering old actors/actresses I've been amazed at how many adopted their working names as their legal names. It's really not that uncommon. Wikitree – bah! Wikitree and geni are trouble. People just put anything together on there. At least Ancestry encourages its users to use records to back up their working. Anyway, I've found his social security death record on Ancestry, which I'm sure you've already seen. It matches FindAGrave and Ancestry family trees. Same DOB and DOD, and uses Alexander Charles Lovelock as his name.

Where can I place a bet that she will say "what can be unburdened by what has been"?

His own website agrees that he was born as Samuel Burke. However, I can't find him in the U.S. records either. It's possible that Samuel was a middle name at birth and he has chosen to omit his real first name for privacy reasons. As per his own website he admits to being very private and somewhat of a recluse. Sadly, the Canadian birth records are not readily available on Ancestry so we can't get to the bottom of it that way. I would strongly doubt he moved back to Canada. He was resident in the U.S. for the vast majority of his life and was definitely still living there in his 80s. His family have made their life in the States. Wouldn't make much sense for him to return to Canada. I'm pretty certain that he's still resident in the States but that we because we don't know his full name at birth, we can't pull out the records.

According to what?

Where do you take 15 years ago from... I'm guessing because he last made a public appearance and posted it on his website in 2009? He last posted on his Facebook page in 2016. Coupled with the fact that there are posts on bodybuilding communities wishing him happy birthday and/or stating "Samson is still with us" with 1000s of interactions but nobody contesting the information, I'm inclined to say he's still probably still alive.

Nor did you bother to use the search engine to check if it had already been covered. @Gisooo already reported on her death when it happened back in February.

Indeed. Sister Ethel is listed on FreeBMD as Ethel A. S. L. M. Rogers (yes, cruel parents with all those middle names!). Her birth was registered in the last quarter of 1924, so turning 100 soon if still alive. -

@Master Obit, the obit above says he was 98 (so must've been born before 1924). Matching this with the GRO I found him. Albert Garnet I. M. Rogers, b. 1923, died in Sefton (within Southport area). Then found the birth record Albert G. I. M. M. Rogers, born 1923 in West Derby (then in Lancashire). Are we in agreement this is him? -

Thanks so much Spade! Had been doubting he was alive for some time now. -

No. Going off of media reports from the last 10 years that claimed he was living in a flat there. Could have moved in that time though. -

I did a similar thing – went onto FreeBMD and tried to match a record to the details on his Wiki page. I think the birth details on his Wiki are most certainly wrong. -

I see there is a listing for an Alan Rogers in the coroner reports from April in Southport, where Rogers lives. Anybody able to find out if this is the football manager? He would have been 99 if it's him. -
Very much doubt one will come.

British businessman and musician Sir Ernest Hall (wiki) dead at 94. Known for his restoration of Dean Clough in Halifax. Had an affair later on in life with Dame Prue Leith, as you do. Telegraph obit.
