That was @Bibliogryphon I think! Asked on the Wed… the day he actually died! Spooky.

Aussie actor Ray Lawler (wiki) died in Melbourne on Wednesday, aged 103, according to a lot of tributes flooding in on Facebook. Obit guaranteed. Maybe even a QO. At least @Bibliogryphon hopes so as he’s a unique pick of theirs on the DDP!

Ysanne Churchman (wiki) dead at 99. Straight to a BBC obit. A DDP hit for 4 teams.

This thread really shouldn’t exist. Off topic clickbait being plastered by Crem and a few others is its only function.

All House of Lords hereditary by-elections cancelled until January 2026. Presumably because they're about to re-evaluate their place in the chamber and bring in new legislation.

For anyone interested, deaths for the year 2022 are now available on the GRO Index.

She is, according to one of my showbiz journo mates. Not sure why… she’s not Parisian or even French. At least for the 2012 Olympics we didn’t have to fly in talent to fill the opening ceremony… just saying.

Mentioned many times on DL Forums before... Time death notice for Pat Heywood (wiki), who died on 26th June aged 92. A unique pick in the DDP!

7 Labour MPs suspended by Starmer for supporting an SNP amendment. Doesn’t seem very democratic… -

True, though she’s actually elaborating on how they’re all linked to those specific campaigns. I’ve never seen it explained like that anywhere else before. And yeah, she is bitter. Not praising her, just giving a good and detailed post credit. -
I’ll make it easier for people who don’t want to read all the waffle above. Here’s the latest picture of him, dated 12th July 2024:

Credit to Mad Nad for once. She's just exposed the inner cogs of the Tory leaderships candidates and basically revealed how Badenoch and Jenrick's campaigns are corrupted before they've even been launched: https://x.com/NadineDorries/status/1815692405737226477 -

Budd drummed on the first record and was replaced by Roberts on the second. Updated entries for The Cascades and The Fireballs. Only just spotted the deaths of Snyder and Budd just now.

This is a man about to turn 75. If I look nearly as good as this when I get to that age I’d be delighted.

Aldana isn't dead. In fact, he's posted about it on Facebook, says he's fine (he looks fantastic tbf!), and has said that he tried to contact the administrator of that site to remove the article.

I'm pretty certain he's still here...

I’ve got them all noted. I also updated a couple of other acts with off radar deaths I’ll mention at some point tomorrow. Too hungover and tired today to update anything tonight.
