Notable Victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war
Ulitzer95 replied to the_engineer's topic in DeathList Forum
On the contrary, the source you've quoted by "Defense Express" (whatever the fuck that is), by "Svetlana Shcherbak" sounds dodgy as fuck. They haven't even capitalised "Russian" in the story's title. That's normally the point where I stop reading... -
Notable Victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war

British manufactured Storm Shadow missiles used in strike kill a Russian Army general, 18 officers, and 500+ North Korean soldiers. Not bad for a day's work. Can't imagine North Korea will have much appetite to stick around for long if they're going to get dunked on that badly. -
Honestly, if this bloke died in 2025 and he wasn’t on the list I doubt many ppl on here would care. Boring name, and there are a lot of others who are sicker who should make the list instead. Drop.

President of the Conservative Monday Club from 1981 to 1991, thus gets a pre-written full Telegraph obit. His death means that Jonathan Guinness, 3rd Baron Moyne (wiki), who will be 95 in March, is probably the only living peer who was a member of the club whilst a member of the Lords in its heyday (i.e. before the Club was disaffiliated from the Conservative Party in 2001). Whilst I'm here, I see the Conservative Monday Club was quietly abolished in its entirety in July 2024.

Am I just imagining things or wasn't he filmed just a few days ago addressing Russian MPs/the media following the UK/US missiles being sent into Russian territory by Ukraine?

I think the 1932 DOB for Patricia Michon is more likely. In 1951–52, she had her first movie roles and she would have been 19/20. That would coincide with a career just starting off after leaving school. 1924 is less believable. She would have been 26/27 in her earliest roles (e.g. "fiery señorita", "saloon girl"). Not impossible but less likely. This COULD be her grave, but I would advise caution. There are a lot of people on StarTiger who put 2+2 together and get 5. The biggest problem is IMDb lists 3 alternative names for her in its trivia section. Nobody has established a birth name, birth date, or her marriages. If someone has more time, Newspapers.com may hold some answers. I'm not deep diving into this for now though – too busy!

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Daily Express obit. Maddocks drew cartoons for basically every British newspaper so would expect more obits to come. -
Still happened 18 years ago, and he was punished then and there, AND he's publicly apologised and expressed remorse. Doesn't matter if it was a push or a kick (or multiple kicks), the charge would have been the same. The sentence was carried out and he was punished as a young offender. I strongly believe in rehabilitation and second chances for everyone. The ONLY issue I have in any of this was that it wasn't declared publicly before he ran for election. But he's not the only one sitting in either Houses of Parliament with a conviction of some kind, and it's unfair to focus on a single individual. It's a completely different matter if someone commits a crime WHILST an MP and hasn't yet been punished for it yet. Enter Labour's Mike Amesbury...

For full context (and this is why Twitter is dangerous, especially "exposé" accounts that only seek to do damage to someone's image without providing details): 1) This was reported months ago, days after he was elected – he commented on it at the time. 2) It was a fight he had out in public with his then girlfriend when he was 19. He's now 38, has subsequently married another woman and has 4 kids with her. 3) Has had no run ins with the police since. Short answer is no, nothing will come out of it.

Thanks YW. I see Eddie Summers is also gone. Colon cancer got him on 5th April 2022. Tribute on his LinkedIn from his daughter and a funeral fundraiser here. This death notice gives me the final DOB I need. Thus Williams was the only one of the 7 men to live into his 80s! Whole act now dead. I’ll update later today.

Thank you. -
Are you trying to give poor polar duck a stroke?
-
Yeah ofc you did.
-
Fair enough.
-
You’re very liberal with the sweary words but can’t answer my wider point. Just about sums up your intelligence.
-
Not good enough for the blood thirsty cohort on here. They want him dead yesterday! Why I’ll never know. There are millions of JMLPs in the world. His death will not make an iota of a difference. He wasn’t even ever a national leader, but rather a serial election loser. Not sure why ppl are so eager to see him die.

You should have clarified that long rants from drunkasaskunk don’t count.

Yes, still signing autographs as of July 2023 according to her Star Tiger page.
-
I reckon he’s a very good punt for 2026.

I had a blonde moment and searched in FreeBMD instead of Scotland’s People. Whoops. Yes, 1939 seems to be correct.
-
That’s what I questioned at first. Her DOB is missing on The Peerage, from Debretts, Wiki and an age is missing from her death notice, but it’s the only match on FreeBMD when I searched between 1920 and 1950.

Countess of Elgin was born in 1943 so 19 years younger than her husband. He has earned his place on The Immortals list by now.

Already reported on here. And The Grauniad have fucked up on their details. Petersen died on 18th, Bryon on 14th.

Facebook post reporting the death of Manfred Ohrenstein (wiki), aged 99. Democratic Member of the New York State Senate from 1961 to 1994, and Minority Leader from 1975 to 1994 (hell of a long tenure!).
