Third oldest on your list, Theodore Y. Wu (wiki) died in mid-December, aged 99 as per this obit.
-
You can scrub Colin Stannard (wiki) from this list. Just discovered he died in Aug 2023, aged 99 as per this death notice. Means that Henry Wylie Moore (b. 1923) is the last Church of England bishop or archdeacon who served during WWII.
-
Yeah, he's the oldest on my list now. With a dodgy heart, he could go any minute, but otherwise seems to be doing okay.

Devaki Krishnan (wiki), Malaysia's first female parliamentarian, dead at 100.
-
You can remove Irene Kerwin (wiki). Died at the end of November aged 98. Obit.

No idea for what his reason may be. Yes, an heir presumptive can apply even if the previous heir presumptive shunned it. What's more, I believe heirs can even re-establish titles even if their father/uncle/cousin/brother disowned it.

Adding a new name right to the top of this list. Philip Spanier (wiki), recently earned himself an English Wiki page. American artist, but notable also as a former bodybuilder (held the Mr Colorado title) and a decorated WWII veteran. Turns 98 in September and seems to be in good health.

HYPERBOLE to get clicks my dear Crem.

Confirmation from ATP here. Not sure if calling somebody the "Rain Man" of Wimbledon is a compliment or not...

Didn't even realise she was a jazz singer. In the UK she's exclusively known for her cover of "California Soul", which is used time and time again in adverts trying to sell fatty processed American food and drink to us.
-
Yes, she is. And she's "only" turning 78 this year.

Lord Trimlestown (wiki), hereditary peer (though an Irish title so was never a member of the House of Lords) dead at 93.

I noticed that earlier. Thought it was you playing a practical joke. -
It's not uncommon. There are a lot of unclaimed titles. Once a holder dies, the heir apparent must apply to be officially recognised and enrolled on the register. Once it's approved, they announce it in the House of Lords.

Bob Toski (wiki, born 1926) now the oldest living professional golfer?

Was he related to Brian? -
Oldest baronet is now Henry Stephenson, presumed 3rd Baronet (wiki, born November 1926). Means there are now no living baronets born before QEII. However, there are still 5 living peers who were born between Sep 1920 and Mar 1926.
-
The new Baronet Conant is 35 years younger so shouldn't be troubling us for a while. Sir John Conant was the oldest living baronet. I have no idea who the new one is now but whoever it is they were born in 1927 or after so will probably be years until we see another centenarian baronet.

Yeah, I noticed that. Makes me wonder if Duddridge is ill. With regards to the list of MPs standing down on Wiki... I will add that there is going to be quite a few more Tory MPs standing down last minute. Some are waiting until the last minute to see just how fucked the Conservatives will be at the next general. There will be one or two from other parties e.g. Diane Abbott isn't on there but I've been told privately she's leaving. Corbyn will fight as an independent given that he's decided against a run at the London mayoralty.

He lost a leg and a hand. That information was passed on to me from another MP.

“Later, he quipped about former President Jimmy Carter, who is currently in hospice care in Georgia with terminal cancer. “He’s happy because his presidency is now considered brilliant in comparison to Joe Biden,” Trump said.” Fair point IMO.

Apologies. It was Craig Mackinlay who had near fatal blood poisoning, not Craig Whittaker. I get the two of them confused.

Alright, edited this to the best of my knowledge (my additions in red).
