I'll repeat myself once more seeing as this doesn't seem to be getting through to people – the list above is notability according to the most foreign language Wikipedia pages. I disagree with your point anyway though. Ash, Eden and Atkins are semi-notable persons in Britain. I don't think a women's cricketer, a spouse and a former MP who is really only known for his age are internationally notable whatsoever outside the remit of deadpooling and those with an interest in centenarians. Centenarians like Kirk Douglas, Vera Lynn and Olivia de Havilland were known the world round for their influence PRIOR to living to extreme ages. That in my eyes is true notability.

    14. James Whale

I note that James Whale‘s interview with Shirley Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church isn’t on YouTube. I have it on my iTunes and really must upload it. It’s the funniest half hour of radio you’ll ever listen to.

    The Stars Of B-cinema

I know there were erroneous death reports put out earlier in the year. Do you actually know if she’s ill?

    The Stars Of B-cinema

I’ll ping it to IMDb tomorrow so it’s at least recorded somewhere online. Got a little excited there. I don’t think I have any British film directors/producers in their mid to late 90s on my radar anymore. They’ve all kicked the bucket!

    The Stars Of B-cinema

Maybe should have whacked it into Ancestry before posing the question. IMDb don’t appear to have picked up on the fact he died in 2014...

    The Stars Of B-cinema

I see there were three producers. Louis M. Heyward (1920–2002), Philip Waddilove (1929–2020) and Arnold L. Miller (b. 21 Oct 1922). So Arnold L. Miller still about and away to turn 98 or died off radar?

Account is private sadly so can't see any bio details. I found his marriage certificate from the info about his wife on his own website and that's what got me his real name. I imagine he was born early 50s.

Josip Manolic's second wife Mirjana (they married in 2016) died yesterday from lung cancer aged 64. He gave a press statement: "It's very hard for me, she was struggling towards the end. She was suffering from lung cancer. First she was treated at home, then went to the hospital. The only consolation is that she won't suffer anymore. It's awful to watch someone fight for breath".

He was regarded as a pretty crap President when he was in the Oval Office. History has been kinder to him and he's done wonders for his own legacy with his humanitarian work. Wasn't built for politics though.

Love this. It's a very iconic tune and I'm somewhat surprised it hasn't been resurrected in the charts by an act in recent times. When I was digging out the song for the section above, I learnt that there was a dance which accompanied it upon its original release. A dance so awful that anyone would be forgiven for thinking that Stevie Wonder choreographed it.

Cheers. No need to go through the parent route. Found him in the GRO okay. Born in Christchurch as Daniel G Balkwill, 1949. Also just found Malcolm "Mal" Player in there in 1952. John Jones is on FB. Now goes under Joe Jones and plays with the QED rock band. Says he's from Leicester originally on his profile, now lives in Yetminster. Born 14th April. Can't find him in GRO or Ancestry to get the year. Anyway, pretty happy with that haul of info. Moving on...
