Superseded by the one the episode before when the Doctor meets Captain Tancredi.. "You. What are you doing here?" "I think that is exactly the question I should be asking you, Doctor."

This brought back memories for me, having lived in Australia in the early 80s, and it got me thinking about Mrs Mangel. Now, when I got divorced about 5 years ago, I changed my surname, but didn't want to go back to my maiden name, and so had the opportunity to pick whatever name I liked (Smith, for the record). Very soon after changing my name, I met my current fuckbuddy, . I have just had a conversation with him, and asked him if I had changed my name to Mrs Mangel would he have still fancied me, and he said no! IF ONLY I'D PICKED MANGEL! It was probably that your first name is Massivetits that got you the gig, though! Mind you, Massivetits Mangel does have a ring to it, like out of a Russ Meyer film...

dead Ennio Morricone
themaninblack replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
LOL Well I certainly think the guy who wrote this is far more worthy of his own thread than someone who was married to Susan Sarandon. So whether you meant to or not, you've actually rather insulted the great guy by using him as a comparison to moan about the other thread (which I agree is rather shitty). Also he'll be 85 in November so I'm not sure I would say he's "not particularly old" either. Anyone who smashed Susan Sarandon's back doors in for the best part of a decade deserves respect IMO. That said, Tim Robbins is in fine fettle and doesn't need to have his own thread.. -
Hang in there Wilko...

Is this the truth? Is there any proof that Ali's boxing career shouldn't have seen the 1980's? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rz3vkUvuVO4 Right on, bro. That is the equivalent of seeing an actress from a sitcom from the gods, like say Pauline McLynn, pitching up in a shite "oirish" tragedy of a comedy, which may have put another rusty nail in British sitcom's coffin... The British Situation Comedy: 1946-2013. Rest in Peace...
-
The irony is that those dodgy decisions which otherwise have ended Ali's career in 1976 rather than 1981 may have contributed to Ali's health problems...
-
So Henry Cooper (put Ali on canvas in 1963), Ken Norton (beat Ali in 1973) and Joe Frazier (beat Ali in 1971) have all passed away in the last three years. Trevor Berbick died in 2006. That leaves Leon Spinks and Larry Holmes looking over thier shoulders...

Ali's outlasting all his rivals... ...George Foreman will surely win in the end.

It's not too bad in places. The Archbishop is probably the best episode of that series along with the last one...

Three actually. He was a murderous knight in 'The Black Adder' episode 'The Archbishop'. And he was Penny Warrender's boss "Nobby" Styles in 'Just Good Friends'...
-
Never mind that shit, he was the voice of Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz in 'The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy'...

In Scotland, 'yin' means 'one'. So basically he's known as 'The big one' Because he's quite tall! 1m 83cm. Haven't a fekin clue what that is in old money. Just over 6ft. Not that big these days but in malnourished Glasgow in 1967 he would have stuck out...

Actor. Was in 'Dog Day Afternoon' and 'The Princess Bride'. Also was Susan Sarandon's husband in the 1970s...

If only more England supporters adopted some of that Tartan Army philosophy, then England matches/tournaments involving England would be more bearable. Alas it's "England expects" every time...

Please, committee members, 25 years after his previous appearance, give old George a place on the 2014 list. Terry!
